  1. PRL Rear Motor Mount Testing vs OEM

I installed and tested them November 26th. Well into cold winter season in Colorado. Now that I’ve had over two weeks of breaking them in, NVH seems to have improved. But I have not tested them after the break-in, just user experience. To answer your question, definitely has not gotten stiffer...
  2. Unpopular Opinions: Missing "features" you're happy about

Im actually now considering upgrading to stronger hatch support lifts and changing the actuator to pop the hatch. Then again I only have diapers to worry about in my trunk lol
  3. PRL Rear Motor Mount Testing vs OEM

you are correct. As far as I’m aware only PRL has two separate bushings with a different type of rubber. Although there are stiffer options from others for putting the most rubber to the road
  4. PRL Rear Motor Mount Testing vs OEM

yes testing done before and immediately after install. Three times each and I took the results with the largest delta or change. After two weeks the bushing rubber breaks in more and NVH has improved
  5. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Until you hit one of the million tolls. Every time I visit family in Houston those tolls laugh at me in the face
  6. PRL Rear Motor Mount Testing vs OEM

thank you. There’s an ITS chat group that expressed concerns with increased NVH with rear motor mounts. Since I was going to purchase I figured I’d make a review to help those on the fence. I have children so definitely wanted something that offers performance with minimal NVH. PRL made RMM...
  7. How easily is your Integra Type S getting rock chips?

don’t have any information about IDS window tint. But I would ask what type of film they are using, warranty, how they plan to wrap edges, how they intend to seal the edges to prevent lifting, what type of water they use for film application(yes this matters a great deal), and maintenance to be...
  8. PRL Rear Motor Mount Testing vs OEM

bought it from Two Step Performance “2022+ Honda Civic 1.5T/2023+ Acura Integra Rear Engine Mount Upgrade” customer support confirmed that these do fit the Integra Type S DE5 SKU: PRL-HC11-RMM
  9. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

comparison kills all joy. I remain perfectly happy with the type S regardless of any other car on the road
  10. Unpopular Opinions: Missing "features" you're happy about

I second this. This car is too special to be running with Auto transmission. Manual gearbox for this incredible machine is how it should be driven. Agree with this. I had a sunroof with my 06' TL. Hardly ever used it and over time it developed strange leaks; rubber pieces wearing out and...
  11. Type S Winter Wheels / Fitment Specs

Running 275/35/R19 Vredestein Wintrac Pros. So they aren't 18's like you're looking for. I can say however that these tires have tremendous grip and short stopping distance. I'm very happy and impressed with them; this is also speaking from considerably wider tires 275 -> 235
  12. How easily is your Integra Type S getting rock chips?

For someone in Littleton, I'd imagine you'd frequent C470, 285 and possibly I25. There's constantly large Semi's dropping debris; but it's worse in the winter with the sand and road salt. My 06' acura TL front bumper got sandblasted; i had it repainted once and after a few years it accumulated...
  13. PRL Rear Motor Mount Testing vs OEM

Idle and normal driving: slight increase in NVH, almost imperceptible. Hard acceleration: greatly reduced vibration; your engine is bouncing around a lot less resulting in putting more power to the road. So that would be the intended result of installing rear engine mounts.
  14. PRL Rear Motor Mount Testing vs OEM

Installed PRL RMM about two weeks ago and did some field testing. Today we field test the PRL Rear Motor Mount VS OEM mount in three test conditions: 1. IDLE Test - Vibration and noise 2. Cruise driving Test - Vibration and noise 3. Wide open throttle Test - Vibration X,Y,Z Axes Here are the...
  15. How easily is your Integra Type S getting rock chips?

I live in colorado and there's a large amount of debris that gets on the road especially during winter months. My previous cars have gotten sand blasted. I opted to go with full body PPF; but I am keeping this car long term. I want it to be in pristine condition as much as possible
  16. Integra Type S Earns 2024 Car and Driver 10Best Cars Award

Really? all this time I thought it meant [P]ull [M]y [C]ard or just simply shut up and take my money
  17. Rear Camera Issue

I use Cquartz UK 3.0 and Cquartz SiC but I put that on top of Cquartz SKIN for my ppf. but those are high end stuff. You can use simple graphene coating for the camera and apply it on rubber trims around the car , license plates, headlight, front bumper grill.
  18. Lifting the car for servicing

it’s a very stiff car, but CTR/ITS uses a special type of metal: In general it’s best to avoid jacking up from the side support location pinch welds why not just change the two front and rear tires at the same time instead of the side?
  19. Lifting the car for servicing

I wouldn’t have been able to answer the question lol. I don’t own these. Already paid for a $300 jack recently so didn’t want to pay for another one so I built ramps. but whichever floats your boat and how much you’re willing to spend and how much you plan to work on your car
  20. What are the odds/chances Acura makes a 2-door coupe next year for the Integra?

i won’t be going EV any time soon and I’m an Elon fan. Some caveats, batteries do have warranties but be aware that there’s a number of things a customer does that can void warranty. A friend had his battery voided due to an improper installation/charging With a juice box wall charger. that...
