I was told a year and a half possible wait. Got some help and a person backed out so I jumped on it. I was irked with the possibility of waiting so long but was fully prepared to wait 2 years. ITS was the ONLY car I wanted.
For me it was go for exactly what I want or nothing at all. Ok well, a...
Give it some time. Sometimes what we’re used to may not always be what is best. But perhaps after going through a winter and you have more miles then consider modding to the way you prefer?
I don’t know their design intent with the master slave cylinder and delay valve but as long as it helps...
To be honest I didn’t think the pedal was bad. It’s softer and the engagement point is high. I assumed this is the way new cars are. The old Integra I can feel the bite point and had to step it far down. Winter definitely did pose problems.
The new ITS pedal soft and smooth but there’s a...
Hmm i get that going narrower tires for winter is ideal for cutting. However, tires too narrow for wide wheels will likely yield a rough ride comfort because the sidewalls will not have sufficient curvature to make them flex over potholes, speedbumps or roads that aren’t smooth. There’s risk of...
Probably very good when trying to achieve maximum times. Although I very much enjoy the shifter feel and just shifting in general on daily drives. Curious how this feels. ITS shift throws are already short, wouldn’t want it to be too short and cause myself to mis-shift
ITS has a “big” look and great looking wide stance. Overall it isn’t huge but I love the fact that it just feels big. Though it is larger than the old school Integra.
You’re exactly right. There are different methods but a dedicated iron remover is best. Iron will embed itself and corrode the surface over time and causes it to feel rough. If left unchecked, it will be very difficult to remove later. Removing iron is always the first step, it’s worst on...
I hear ya on the 360 camera. Though I’ve never owned a vehicle with multiple cameras. I’d suggest you go old school like me to ensure you’ll never curb your tires and fit your car into the tightest spots :
I’ve been so accustomed to these little mirrors on each side I made sure to put them on...
He did cite the completely different suspensions, drivetrain, tuning and wheel/tire size setup. It’s fair game if you feel C-SI still handles better with better road feel. I would say if you posed the same statement to the CTR folks you would meet the same resistance. The objective portion is...
Never driven an C-SI but the ITS is above and beyond so many others in terms of handling and steer as the CTR is. I’m certain the CTR was engineered to be much better than the C-SI. I don’t experience any lack of feel or body rolls while powering through corners.
That said, it could just be...
One thing to note is as the guy was testing all the PPF, there’s no maintenance done on them, no ceramic coat protection and all left in the sun for three years. So he’s only pressure washed them 31 times to make those videos. What’s clear is the self-healing properties becomes less effective...
It’s a liability and profit thing. Last thing I’d want for you is you ride around with xpel for a couple of months then come to find some yellowing, ppf cracking and your warranty is voided. Very easy for them to go to your installer and find documentation you used 9H ceramic coat.
The issue...
The price you’re paying for PPF is a bit on the high end. But nationwide prices are relatively high.
Ceramic coating price is decent. But still far more than what it’d cost to do it yourself. Ceramic Pro 9H is the much cheaper option compared to CQuartz and Gtechniq. Cquartz will generally...
I’m in Colorado so I won’t be able to make any recommendations for you out in Connecticut. Obviously these days ppf is quite expensive. If you plan to keep the ITS for a very long time and cherish it, then it’s worth getting.
Also understand without it there will be wear and tear mostly on...
Hard to know which shops to recommend when we don’t know which area you’re referring to.
Based on what I’ve learned recently, PPF and/or ceramic coat will not make your car bulletproof from damage or remain in pristine condition.
PPF: this will provide you the best protection against rock...
