Noice! ? thanks for the share on this; been waiting for it instead of going the route previously of stage1/stage2 hardware upgrades.
it looks as if all you would need would be the shifter base bushings to complete it?
They should be able to hook you up and in the event that itās more than just an adjustment; they can get you right and save you the time and energy if finding that out yourself. Should only take 5 mins to do yourself to check but up to you! ?
Iām going to the dealer in a week to have them...
Def not normal. I would personally try to pop off the center console cover and get a look at what is going on underneath. they lift off with the cover and just be mindful of the connector when lifting; donāt pull off too far without disconnecting it first, then all the way off. You may be able...
Ah ok I appreciate ya ? itās been the unfortunate reality for these cars the first 3 model years. Hopefully more premium quality options are down the pike
Same here in my ASpec. When letting off of the throttle in any gear I get a faint whistle/rattle but goes away upon throttle input. Annoying but just chalked it up as a quirk at this point :/
Put that lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control to use on those long trips!
id say at least once a week or so to take it to some back roads or highway and get on it a little bit too to give it the old āItalian tune upā. Clear out the pipes etc
I replaced my cvt fluid at 30k just as maintenance; it wouldnāt hurt to do it every 15k especially if you can do it cheap on your own. Small price to pay to keep her on the road long term. Plenty of examples of 10th gen civics with nearly 300k miles on the cvt. So long as you donāt beat on it it...
I go them immediately after getting my car new. They compliment the black and chrome accents of the interior and the coverage is great. The only issue I had initially was the clutch pedal contacting the mat when fully depressed but it isnāt as prevalent now after nearly 4k miles as it has...
Haha I was right there with you when I first heard it! I also think I had a slightly sticky brake pad once and couldāve made the thud, or it was another stone. I couldnāt think of anything else it couldāve been but once I saw the stones on the ground, I knew it had to be that
Iāve had it happen in a parking lot where a larger stone was under the wheel and when I turned it, it shot out. Maybe the case depending where you parked?
No issues on my current 6MT head gasket but my prior cvt had a leaking one. The dealer replaced it under warranty while I was in getting inspection. Itās a relatively easy fix even outside of warranty but yeah; the 1.5 gaskets for some reason are shite idk why lol
Donāt top off. Youāll foul your fuel vapor sensor long term ? Iāve only taken the car down to 10 miles and felt too guilty to not fill up (busy with work and other responsibilities) other than this one-off, I typically fill with about 50 miles left and I drove like a grandpa (6MT ASpec)
Nice post ?
I had 20mm on my last teg but didnāt take them off after it was totaled. Looking to get some installed again on my new one this spring (and getting her lowered as well)
are you on the pro kit from eibach?
I love them for look but mostly for the coverage they provide. Only negative if I could call it that is the clutch pedal touching the mat while fully depressed but it doesnāt prevent full disengagement so I learned to live with it; donāt even notice any more
