I h I had an 8th gen and now an ITS and can say your assessment is spot on. One thing I’d add is that the 8th/9th gen’s were NA and sounded glorious hitting vtec and letting it sing to 8000+rpm with an intake installed.

That’s not a bad idea. Once swapped you could always try to resell it with the chrome knobs, disclosing that oem is black, to recoup cost.

They were def expensive…. Not sure if it’s worth, but they def do look better than the chrome.

it's been working quite well for me, but i also ended up doing the accord franken-mirror today and will likely cancel the subscription if the mirror works well for the next few weeks without problems.

I still really like the tuxmats coverage. I'd buy them again. I cut it very cleanly with a blade and it still looks really good and is completely safe from any pedals catching.

Installed tuxmats today and took out the OEM all weather mats. The clutch pedal hits the mat and made it feel weird so I cut it as such that it doesn't do that anymore. I made sure that there is zero catch to make sure it's safe. Anyone thinking about getting these "full coverage" floor mats...

I bet if you removed it you could spray it down and wash it clean so the joint areas in the cup holder grips can get free.

Look up the instructions to install the acuity 4 way short shifter and it’ll show you how to remove everything. It’s actually quite easy and not much to get out to get under there. I removed recently. There’s no electrical under there so you should be good.

I always leave it in gear. Has saved me in the past when ebrakes have failed. It’s just been habit for 20+ years.
