I don’t ever really look at the indicator and forget it’s there most of the time. I just know what gear I’m in and nothing I ever consciously really think about. I guess after hundreds of thousands of miles in manual cars it’s just habit or reflex now. I barely look at the rev indicator lol
I saw today there is a lock button next to the trunk open button, lol. Perhaps a crack at the manual is in order, but finding features like this is fun too.
Yea…. About that….. so the install hardware they provide are these rubber rivet nuts. It does a great job at holding the lip on there, but at highway speeds it starts to pull down or sag. I guess it’s working as intended. lol. Needless to say, I fought with it for about 3 months and stressed on...
I have a hefty v8 coupe that’s fun to drive as well as the ITS. I end up driving the ITS a lot more because it’s easier to have fun in it without going crazy speeds.
I’m a fan of all platforms for different reasons. I also have an affinity for rwd vehicles but the civic/Integra fwd performance compacts hold a special place in my heart.
You just made me remember that the 8th gen had actual real rev hang, not like what folks have been talking about. Upon depressing the clutch on an upshift, the rpm would pause a half second while dropping at the next up-shift point. I think this was intentional to help with smoother upshifting...
