Haha I noticed the same thing this morning. Been picking my kids up from camp and the debris accumulates much faster than usual.
Another thing I’ve noticed with the Tuxmats is that my left heel can sometimes wedge into one of the mat grooves when the clutch pedal is fully depressed. Only seems...
I drive the front wheels up on some 2x6 boards to give enough clearance for my Arcan low-pro jack to reach the front center jack point. Then I jack up the rear since I rotate my tires when I change the oil. No boards necessary to reach the rear center jack point. Been doing it this way for...
I have two sets of the 19’s for my ITS, but have run different wheel diameter setups on other street cars. The most practical effect of going to 18” is a much greater selection of tires. The extra half inch of sidewall may give some additional isolation, but really that’s going to depend on the...
Serves as a safety check of the course for the competitors, plus it’s a bit of ceremony and a marketing opportunity. Should make for some cool photos of the HRC ITS doing race car stuff.
The Pikes Peak Hill Climb has always had a special place in my heart. It will be cool to see both the HRC ITS pace car and #93 ITS in the Time Attack division.
Anyone else planning to watch...
Agree with this. My car has had the exact same symptom since new and I was pointed towards the wastegate rattle. As soon as I gave the wastegate linkage a jiggle it was obvious that it’s bouncing around when not under any load. If it wasn’t directly over the turbo I’d just hit it with some thick...
Just wanted to circle back and say that EOS was very courteous and gave me a full refund in the end. I opted not to try a replacement, and will likely go with the Artwork v1 in gloss black.
Understood and thanks for the further clarification. I suppose worst case it’s a simple swap back to stock if it doesn’t work for me. My Subaru has a catless DP and Stromung exhaust, and I’d love to revert it back to something catted and quieter but it’s hard to find parts for it, being “so old”...
Awesome. I finished reading the thread and saw you added the downpipe after having already been tuned. Did you feel like it was worth the additional spend? I was under the impression the pipe would need to be changed to get that 10-15% bump in power.
I'm surprised that the downpipe contributed...
Hey Jester, thanks for the guidance in this thread. I'm considering the tune + TSP downpipe option; I'd like a bit more midrange punch, and growl from the exhaust note, while keeping everything else looking and sounding stock. Really just an OEM+ setup.
I'm not really interested in increasing...
The tires are great. I didn’t have to drive in anything too messy this past winter, but they handle well and feel comfortable down as cold as we had… maybe 10-20 degrees? Most of the roads I drive are not too awful, so I don’t have to deal with a lot of surprise potholes or anything like that. I...
