  1. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

It would make sense for the Type S to have it… but it would be a somewhat significant change over the CTR so I’m not expecting it. Good on them if they do… rather than pinching pennies. I’d rather they didn’t so the msrp won’t get too out of control.
  2. Official: 320 HP for 2024 Integra Type S! Full Reveal Next Month @ Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 14)

I’ve decided that I don’t like the final look of the ITS or it’s price and think Acura sucks now and aren’t trying hard enough even though it hasn’t been unveiled yet… it’ll never be good enough… case closed :)
  3. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

For resale, I just mean when the time comes to sell it won’t be worthless. Makes it easier to pull the trigger knowing you won’t lose much on it. It’s hard to argue that Honda has made some of the best engines and transmissions of our time. The K20 and 6M from the CTR/ITS are objectively some...
  4. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

Have to agree on value. Assuming a price close to CTR and a reasonable possibility of buying sans ADM. Where else do you get the performance, reliability, resale, usable backseat, lift back storage at a within reach price. Plus, looks are subjective, but its hard to argue those renders don’t...
  5. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

There are no guarantees right… but anyone following closely knows their camo cars are virtually production models and how closely the Integra follows the Civic in including ITS and CTR. The Integra has always been more Honda than Acura. From the hood vents, to the triple exhaust, to the...
  6. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

Thought it was pretty clear from the camo car that there’s no sunroof. That plus CTR doesn’t have one. Hope springs eternal I guess… hence the awd talk that still pops up I guess.
  7. Best First Drive Song

What’s your best idea for the first drive song? There something about the first drive of your new car so I’m crowd sourcing ideas for my first drive in the new Integra… just a matter of time. History - 1999 Prelude, pearl white, full oem skirts and wing (Dragula) - 2017 Civic Si, can’t even...
  8. Ordering Integra Type S

What can be said is when it comes to dealerships, their confidence level is usually inversely proportional to their accuracy.
  9. Official: 320 HP for 2024 Integra Type S! Full Reveal Next Month @ Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 14)

    Ya, but I don’t want THAT one… I want THIS one…. ?
  10. Official: 320 HP for 2024 Integra Type S! Full Reveal Next Month @ Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 14)

Agreed, if you like styling that’s more on the sharp/aggressive side then the base Integra is less appealing than the TLX… ITS, at least from the renders, is even more aggressive better proportioned than the TLX IMO. It wouldn’t take much for Acura to step up the interior. They could pull a...
  11. Official: 320 HP for 2024 Integra Type S! Full Reveal Next Month @ Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 14)

Sounds like the Integra will solve most of your issues with the TLX. Only question is do you want to give up the interior/exterior design. Personally, I think the ITS exterior is as good if not better than TLX. The interior well, it’s likely not going to change much from A Spec which is fine…...
  12. Official: 320 HP for 2024 Integra Type S! Full Reveal Next Month @ Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 14)

Yes there will, where do you think the extra 5hp are coming from lol.
  13. Official: 320 HP for 2024 Integra Type S! Full Reveal Next Month @ Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 14)

If there’s no flat bottom steering wheel… :bat:
  14. Official: 320 HP for 2024 Integra Type S! Full Reveal Next Month @ Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 14)

In Canada, CTR, Golf R and S3 are all around $50-$51k. If the ITS is more than another $2-3k Acura has made a mistake.
  15. Official: 320 HP for 2024 Integra Type S! Full Reveal Next Month @ Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 14)

That’s debatable. Lots of track oriented cars cost more than luxury cars. It’s arbitrary whether or not Type S is more expensive than Type R. A 5hp increase on the same motor is arbitrary too. They are prob trying to build up the Acura brand on the back of CTR. Not a bad idea. It’s a great car.
  16. Official: 320 HP for 2024 Integra Type S! Full Reveal Next Month @ Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 14)

Extra 5hp seems like posturing. Them letting us know it’ll cost more than the CTR… I can see the marketing now… “MORE POWERFUL THAN CTR!”
  17. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

Why CTR has ridiculous ADM but ITS likely won’t: It’s rare - they’re intentionally limiting numbers, to up the price and hype It’s iconic - CTR has some history that ITS doesn’t Type R > Type S, it’s more hard core track focused, more Type S models and they’re not so track focused Acura brand...

    They didn’t say much…
