Interesting that the base model which gets the bulk of the upgrades rose by $400 but the A Spec Techs go up $1,200.
Love my A Spec Tech 6MT, that really is a nice daily driver trim.
Mic drop, the Z4 6MT is my dream car and I’m trying to find enough uses for one to place an order before they go away. Would be interested in your ownership experience so far.
Congrats on the Integra, I love mine. That is the other thing that makes me hesitate to get the Z4!!
My car needed a HUD replacement as my display glitched with a big blank circle obscuring the one’s digit of speed and the traffic sign. Part was back ordered so I’m guessing this is not uncommon. They also have to take the steering wheel off to complete this job and failed to put it on...
I have a unique perspective, owning two A Spec Techs, a 6MT for myself and frequently driving my teen son's CVT. The manual really makes this car. The CVT gets better gas mileage on the highway, all other aspects go to the 6MT. The LSD makes it grip better in turns, it feels quicker and Honda...
It is very strange. We've had BMWs, Lexi, a Benz, a Porsche, Saabs and Volvos - none of these cycle the settings automatically. Most (Lexus excluded) get much warmer, and the wood wheel on our Macan gets scalding!!
Hey Folks,
I was interested in the upcoming ADX for our family until I saw the online reviews which were less than complimentary. What was more concerning was that several comments were made about head gasket issues with the 1.5 engine. Anyone have data on this? Should us Integra 1.5 owners...
This is interesting. I had a loaner TLX that was doing exactly this. Seats were set to 3, I'd look down a few minutes later and they were on 2. I couldn't tell any change in temp besides the usual cycling that takes place.
They won't charge you for labor while under warranty, even if they can't find a problem.
Maybe ask to try another Integra on the lot?
I do find the heated seats and heater to be weaker than other vehicles I've owned.
While not exactly your comparison, I have an Integra 6MT A Spec Tech and have driven the Type S and my 77-year old mother's (believe it or not) Supra auto. I also recently played around with the shifter on a Supra 6MT at the Philly auto show (while off). Here are some comments.
Supra engine...
Yeah, there should be no ADM in PA. These are sitting on the lots. I don't see any blues in inventory within 250 miles of my home in the Philly suburbs however. They do have black ones.
BTW, I love my Apex Blue so you might want to hold out. My son has the black and it's definitely harder...
Exactly this - however, these Acuras are the first vehicles in which I've experienced this phenomenon. My son's Integra will even crank slowly if the key and phone are near each other.
Congrats on the Integra, you will love it's 6MT and the Apex Blue. I get weekly compliments on the color.
The one thing to consider with mods on a lease is you will pay for the whole cost, where as in a lease you are only paying for the difference between cost and value at the end for the car...
Was trying to fix this over the weekend. It now works on my personal cell phone, which is running in Bluetooth. For some reason, the car will no longer accept my work cell over Bluetooth and only wants to use the Wi-Fi. Anyone encounter this before?
I looked at the settings, and deleted and then repaired the phones. Now texts are showing up when in CarPlay, but not if I am in another function such as SIrrusXM. Thoughts?
