Happened to me when I dropped off my kid at basketball practice. I went up a slightly gravelly driveway and got a pebble stuck in the front driver-side rotor. The sound was insanely loud and I couldn't lodge it loose, so I drove home making a complete racket. Took long screwdriver and poked the...
Went on a long early drive today (loving the DE5 in the twisties!)
Stopped by my parents house and retook the same picture of my 1996 Integra GS-R I had when I was a kid.
30 year difference!
Haha why did you think I stopped to take a pic! Actually 'bliss' the photo in WinXP background was taken about 60 miles from where I live. I've driven by it.
The hills are absolutely beautiful right now here!
I went in fully expecting to pay, and the service writer was originally going to give me a discount on the oil chance, but then said; "i'll just have it covered by Acura!"
It was my first time ever at that dealership. I haven't owned an Acura in many many years, so maybe he wanted to build a...
I really miss the M2, but having had an F80 M3, G80 M3 more recently just made me want a change. I also started to feel the interior (with only wireless aapl carplay and no AA) was feeling a little dated after spending all those years in an F80 back in 2016, and the F87 having essentially the...
Nice LC! I agree with you. I'm more of a driving dynamics and handling guy. My wife's Macan EV 4S could easily dust any of my cars in a drag race lol.
The fact that I am also an s2k owner speaks I don't care about straight line speed at all! I really only care about good aftermarket suspension...
I almost pulled the trigger twice on a GT350! I took extended test drives each time and loved the sound, handling and just the event of the drive. I paused on each purchase and went to something else. I even drove a GT500 to see if I would like that more (I didn't, reminded me of the hellcats)...
Here's a fun one; the Type S is a solid all-rounder, but what enthusiast car do you think would compliment the Type S well?
for me, I think it would be a DCT F87 M2 Comp - which is hilarious because I just sold that car, right before buying my DE5, and it was an instant regret.
I loved the...
Got my oil changed today @ 6K miles ~ 40% remainder. Dealer was nice, and used Acura's complimentary maintenance so it was free.
Since it was a beautiful day I took a nice long backroad drive.
Ah! That is good to know! I would have ordered the MDX mirror if that was the case. I didn't find the Accord mirror terribly expensive ~ $160, but cheaper is definitely better.
I know you can probably buy them aftermarket but my Tacoma came from the factory an electronic rearview mirror. Gives you a super nice wide completely unobstructed view; and bunch of little quality of life touches like when you press homelink, it tells you if the door is going up or down, if...
I have no clue. The Accord mirror was the exact one I installed on my FL5 and it looked, fit, and worked perfectly so I just ordered the same one. A quick search on the MDX mirror looks exactly the same too.
Installed the Homelink mirror today. This is the 3rd time i've done it! First on my FL5, then my friend's FL5 and now on my DE5. I used the wiring harness method as it was familiar to me. Install went nice and smooth.
