$200+ seems pretty steep. I bought that part last summer from alldiscountparts for $74.20 including tax and shipping. Had to look around a few places though because it was on backorder and some of the dealers were just flat out canceling my order. I ended up keeping the lid from the Integra...
Can confirm. I used the Accord harness and mine is powered even when the car is off. I agree about the safety thing, so if you're worried about that, either wire it with the jumper, or you may need to de-pin and move some wires around on the Accord harness if you go that route.
If you go with the Civic one, the only mod you'll have to make is to add a jumper wire from the +12V signal for the mirror dimming control to power the HomeLink buttons. But like others have said, it has a frame, so the Accord mirror is the better route if you want to retain the OEM look of the...
Hasn't happened to me yet on the Integra but I had something similar happen to me frequently in an older car, and always in the same location. Not sure whether it was some kind of interference in that parking lot specifically, but I thought it was odd.
And yes, the key hole can be accessed by...
Did you recently have your battery disconnected? Every time I've done that, the range reset to something like 380 (in the Type S which almost never shows over 300). The next time you fill up it should be back to normal.
I have the Graco Tri-Ride 3-in-1. Currently have it set up as a highback booster seat and using a seat belt with it (but still holding it in place with the bottom LATCH points). I recommend getting some kind of cover for the front seat to protect it when your kid inevitably kicks the seat with...
Somewhat related question: today I saw a video of the ADX's climate controls that showed the white light ring changing to red or blue for a few seconds depending on which direction you turn the temperature knob. Has anyone tried (or know if it's possible) to swap the ADX climate controls into...
Wrap it. I bought a 5 ft roll of matte black wrap from Amazon for cheap, 2 weeks after buying my car in 2023. I complained about the piano black for that entire 2 weeks. 2.5 years later and it still looks almost the same as it did when new, and haven't had a single complaint about it since.
Keep in mind that after you do this, you'll get a bunch of error lights on your dashboard. They should all go away after a short drive and power cycling your car. Your radio and dashboard settings should all be retained, but the HUD will be reset to default settings. Also your wireless charger...
Fitment is the same between DE4 and DE5. The only difference is there are extra wires and mirror adjustment pins on the DE4 on the passenger side for the reverse mirror dip. If the connector is different (which off the top of my head I don't believe it is) it's easy enough to swap the connector...
For your case, you shouldn't need to remove that triangular side panel or the one above the fusebox (that was only for routing a wire up the A-pillar) but you can screw the ground connection under that second panel like I did in the video. You'll just have to get under there and route the...
Here's a DIY video I made when I installed the HomeLink MIrror. If you watch from 5:18 to 7:05, you'll see how to get access to the fusebox and which plug to use. They both connect to the same spot so when later installed my USB ports I had to plug into a passthrough connector that came with the...
I'd be hesitant to steal power from the front USB ports or cigarette lighter. My understanding is they used to that and then switched to the connector in your picture which plugs into the fusebox. Do you have anything against using that one?
I don't remember why I stuck them on the seat, but I was taking them to the dealer. On the way back, I remember folding the seat down and I think I had slightly more room in the trunk than with the seats up.
According to their website (https://forza.net/fh6cars), as of now there's only the A-spec and no Type S. It also mentions that this is not yet the full list and they will plan to have over 500 cars (currently the list has under 100). Either way, it's exciting - I recently started playing FH5 and...
Buy another gauge or go to one of those gas stations with the digital pumps that turns off when you reach the set PSI. If the pressures match your car's readout, the problem is your inflator. If it matches your inflator, the problem is likely the car.
