It is well documented over the Internet. In a previous post, I posted a link to how to remove the delay valve. Then it is just replacing the slave cylinder and damper (I bought the sirimoto N1 damper delete, so it is just a simple replacement).

I too find the same thing. Nonetheless, I will be removing the delay valve in the slave cylinder and remove the damper from the clutch circuit. This will be done tomorrow. Hope I will have some sort of improvement!

I used a small ratchet with a socket that you can put screwdriver bits in it. Also works very well for the rear splash guard.

Nice solution! Better than the RL spare tire I run as the tray will be flat! But I would not drill my floor like that here in the rust belt... Would still do what I did to secure the RL spare!

^^ This is completely stupid in freezing climates. This will in term destroy the wiper blades and wiper motor when wiper are frozen on the windshield. Starting to consider leaving them in the maintenance position when there is a risk that they freeze on the windshield...

I noticed that when I start the car, wipers will go down as low as possible automatically. It is kind of stupid when freezing temps are present, especially when there was rain and then freezing temps. Wipers will try to move but are frozen to the windshield... Also stupid that you can't lift...

Everytime I drive my Fit, I found the steering to be jerky/notchy... Hope I don't have this problem. Crossed fingers for the ITS, up to now all is OK.

Glad it helped! When i left my drives in the car all the time, I came across this many times: drive would work, then not, then work again, then one day die completely. This is why I stopped leaving the drive in the car all the time.

Is your drive working fine on a computer? If the drive is also not recognizable on the computer, your drive might be shot.

In the car, I only have a small scissor jack. So in case of a flat in the front, lift the rear, put the spare there, then lift the front and replace the wheel. Two times the job in case of a front flat, but I might live that scenario like one or two times during the life of the car? Not so...

Did you leave the drive in the car all the time? I did this in my Fit and found out that the cold/heat in the car is not good for the drive. Now I take my drive with me when I leave the car (drive is on my key chain).

No, only the rear. It is written in one of the post. If you have a flat in the front, you replace a rear wheel with the spare, then put the rear wheel in the front. A bit more work, but at least you're not stranded on the side of the road.

Good practice to not use the parking brake. If ON for a while, especially outside, then your rear brake might seize (pads will stick to the rotor).
