I figured Ram. They donāt hold their value. Nor do most half ton pickups, aside from the Tundra. I sold my ā22 Super Duty Tremor diesel for $5K more than I paid new, just a few months ago. It all depends on the truck.

You better have deep pockets for the 911 (assuming you own one outside of warranty). Mine was amazing! Loved that carā¦.I tried to replace it several times but couldnāt. Then, one day after a 2K mile road trip, about 5 miles from home, it broke a valve spring. A very very rare failure...

I'm only considering two exterior colors and one interior color. I will only purchase in my preferred color combination.
AND, I'm not paying over MSRP.
I can wait....I'm not in a hurry.

Its only funny assuming nobody pays it and that car sits on their lot for months and months and months.
If someone pays that price, then the dealer is laughing all the way to the bank.
Mike
That's what I figured....would be a great option for the standard Integra assuming a 6MT would be available with the combination. The Type S is awesome, I'm very much looking forward to it. I plan on keeping it for a long time. And, it will see some track time....but, I pretty much track...
I probably wouldnāt even consider the Type S if the 2.0T from the Accord was available/standard engine in the Integra Aspec 6MT. Iād just buy thatā¦
Mike
Which is good but, in 10 months time, we might be fools for paying MSRP for a Type S.
The automotive market is extremely volatile and may get much worse in the coming months.
Mike
Well, at least we know who #1 and #2 are, lol. In all honesty, I certainly donāt need to be the first to take delivery and Iām not in a hurry.ā¦I would just want to be guaranteed a Type S in my preferred color combination at some point during the production run. Iām sure theyāre disappointed...
True, but if the information we currently have is accurate, Iām definitely not taking the first color combinations that will be available. Like you, Iām going with Black interior. I want white but, I will take silver if necessary.
Iām working with Justin, Jared and David.
Mike
Probably, lol
And.....we're going for the same 'Washington approved' color combination, lol
Let's just hope the Type S production isn't as limited as the CTR!
Hinshaw quoted me $5-10K over MSRP....nope!
Mike
Hinshaw Acura in Fife has confirmed ADM
I tried to give my dealer a deposit too but, they aren't taking deposits either (seemed like they were unsure how Acura was rolling out the Type S). They have my color preferences and I'm #1 on their list. Although, I highly doubt I'll take their first...
Precisely. Totally agree (matter of fact, I was disappointed to learn the Type S is built in the USA, lol).
However, try arguing that logic with an uniformed sales person (or sales manager, or GM, or dealer principle). It's an exercise in frustration and I don't have the time, lol.
Mike
Don't know. My conversation was over once they confirmed an ADM.
My dealer is MSRP...which is why I want to know which dealer Porschegt23 consulted.
Mike
Which dealership in WA wanted to charge $15K over MSRP?
I was told the same CTR excuse by several dealerships trying to justify the ADM on the Type S.
I had to call around to find an MSRP dealership for the Type S.
