Never mind I reading that in this car anything past e35-40 causes the air fuel ratios to go whacky and I don't want to risk anything. I guess ill suck it up and look foward to this heat wave to be over
I'm wondering if e85 can help keep things cooler during high heat but not sure if this fuel lines are built for it. I have to do some research. It helped when I had my frs
Drive to work was great using the rev hang enhancement, I would definitely recommend using it if your using ktuner. When the temps are cool like this, the car shines. Trying to figure out if a cold air intake on this platform can help bring the temps down faster when heat soaked or does it just...
I'm liking throttle level 1, I think it was just me getting use to the car and if i remember correctly it was like a nice 70s day and the car just felt rather strong. Right now I'm running throttle level 1 with rev hang( loving the rev hang enhancement) and turbo level 1. 17psi in normal and...
So I gave revhang option a chance with throttle level 1 and I have to say it's better than I expected. Not only does the rev hang feel better but shifting feels smoother and maybe it's just me but clutch engagement changed in a good way. It's like the clutch went from economy mode to sport
I should probably stop saying I don't feel rev hang, the rev hang is there it just not as bad as people make it. I had a 2018 wrx, the rev hang in there is absolutely insane and then add the super crunchy gear shifts that sometimes don't even let you go into gear will make any manual tranny seem...
Rev hang is controlled by one drop down menu within throttle responsiveness. It applies to all tunes and modes( comfort, normal, sport). I'm using throttle responsiveness level 1 right now without the rev hang adjustment. I don't feel rev hang whatsoever so I don't feel they need to mess with it .
I never had an issue until today. I don't normally let my car idle but now I know better. I can tell when the car is heatsoaked but today it was on another level. But now I understand how motortrend got 7.7 0-60 because I swear 0-60 felt like 8 secs or more today. It was bad
So today was the first day that I was like wtf this car is slow. Had my brother in law the car and he asked me to floor it. I went to floor it and it was like the car barely climb from 40 to 70. I was little embarrassed thinking it never felt like this before. Then I forgot that I left the car...
I rarely see the new Si. If there's any civic I see the most, it's a civic sport pretty much everywhere I look. I've been seeing quite a few of the new civic hatchback as well.
Honestly the more and more I drive this 1.5t platform the more I think what if acura honda kept the type S a 1.5T and gave us a higher redline like 7300, better tires, a more aggressive tune, an upgraded clutch with some luxury bits and aggressive body kit I'd be all for it.
No not even close. Stock type R is anywhere from 4.9 to 5.3 secs from any good driver. With stage 1 tune 19psi I've gotten to 6.2 secs so I'm not far off
Yep that's right . I only use one map. 17psi in normal comfort/ 19psi in sport. But you have the option to setup another map and add more boost. Let's say a type r wants to battle lol your not going to win but you can quickly switch to map 2 21psi and let her rip and then calmly except defeat...
Lmao there is no lies here. I swear I would be a 1994 -2001 just to have both but every one I find is either mismatched or modded to a point that doesn't seem worth it. There's one by me in mint condition but it's an automatic(yuck) and he wants 9k with 160k
