Thanks! Yessir, these are the anthracite Apex wheels. I bought some TLX center caps from eBay and popped the chrome off and painted them black. Matches the rear emblem now!
The collars really do make it feel just extraordinarily tight in a good way - not too tight or rigid. Makes you feel one with the car so much more. Probably the best upgrade for just daily drivability in general.
PRL motor mount is great. In hindsight, I wouldn’t mind have trying out the 27won also. Now with the front pipe installed, it will be kind of a pain to redo due to the way the front bolt is facing. From my experience, the best parts that have helped with the shifting is the spoon rigid collars...
It can look like silver on a bright day too sometimes. I wish I didn’t care about standing out on the road that much because I think PRP is probably the best color with the gloss black type of accessories especially that I’m adding.
Just waiting on the V2 spoiler.
I appreciate this! Now I can use my leftover 2x12’s to get the rears level. I have a treated wood ramp setup so it’s very strong but the jack maxed out to where I couldn’t quite fit my rear wood pedestals I made. They were literally about a quarter inch too short.
Think I’ll try out the Conti’s after wearing these out still ? I was almost starting to wonder if they stretch the tire too much over the wheel if it causes the seating issue. ??‍♂️
I’m no tire mechanic, but I’ve wondered if it depends on the tech and the equipment they use symbiotically to achieve a proper seating of the bead. So far so good here and I’ve pushed the car quite hard recently. Temps are climbing into the 70’s now so hopefully all will be good until October.
Mungenast auto groups in the St Louis area won’t markup any of their brand vehicles that they sell and they get a TON of allocation compared to others around here.
Time has dwindled substantially. I got most of this done by Halloween of last year & due to lack of time just recently had a reputable local shop do the suspension mods & tires. I’m waiting for the intake to arrive to a few of the other associated mods while it’s out. @Integra23 has me beat in...
It’s really suggested by Honda/Acura engineers to let the factory oil with added moly run to around 5k before changing. My first oil analysis came back normal at 5400 miles. Waiting to get the second one back that was around 4500 miles.
Agreed. The main advantage either of these charge pipes really give besides a little bit more flow, is that they won’t stretch like the factory rubber ones can over time leading to a boost leak.
@koatic did a dyno pull with the HPS though and pulled 18 HP and 14TQ.
The last truck I had was a Tri coat ivory pearl white and i had a very good local shop repaint two of the doors after dent removal - overnight hotel side swipe. They did such a good job that it actually looked better than factory but you could tell that they did a better job also. Lol Ever so...
Same here. If I had known about this tire, I would have tried them out also even though they are extremely close in performance. Some other vehicle forums appear to still like the Michelin more but we know it is a marginal difference if anything. I very much want to try the Potenza. I don’t want...
Fortunately I’ve had no faults yet, but wasn’t even aware of the Conti ECS 02 until just now - is that what you decided to go with or the DWS06+? I just removed the DWS06+ but kinda wish I had known about these summer Conti’s sooner. Lol! I haven’t pulled up online to read about tomorrow.
I did use some TSP points with that on a couple other orders. I ordered the Wunderladen rear brake bushings & HR detent springs yesterday. So far this past month I’ve gotten about $90 off total in points. Hundreds off altogether though. Which helps when you’re this deep into the car. ?
I agree. I just have the smoked triangle overlay on it. I have a dark black one too that I didn’t put on yet. Maybe I should try it out. I’ve thought about having Lamin-x make the same orange cover and just doing the whole headlight. Would look better when it’s turned off I think.
