Kuro day seems to be a success so far! Only drove for about 20-25 minutes after we finished up. Hoping I can datalog correctly at lunchtime tomorrow to send them in for revision tunes. Took 6 hours with 2 of us taking our time.

Thanks for the explanation! I got the turbo installed today but I will check the code reader again to see if there’s any background codes. So far all is well with exhaust sounds and no CEL’s.

Update that clearing the code has worked for me so far.

Mine is all done after ECU unlock and Hondata FlashPro. To my understanding, that’s the only way to tune this platform currently.

I only cleared the code but haven’t started it back up yet. About to shortly and then drive it though. I’d like to avoid disconnecting the battery if possible. That’s what I felt led to all this anyway. Question - why is it to clear code and then disconnect battery in that order? And is it true...

Don’t blame you one bit. I feel the same way really but was assured no issues. I’ll say that it’s still running strong for sure, just no sounds right now. Honestly I still think it’s just from disconnecting the battery on these modern systems. Another theory I have is that I don’t like oiled air...

Lol it’s unlocked. For about 9k miles with Derek’s TSP tune. Only thing new is HVI & charge pipes. He mentioned in the chat that the GESI cat in the TSP downpipe is typically clean enough to avoid that. Another in the chat said he’d get that code sometimes with the 27won catted downpipe. I would suggest looking for a specialty shop that’s familiar with the platform. That’s what I did. My back and hips can’t handle suspension work anymore. Found that out the hard way trying to help with springs yesterday. Never again. Lol

My vote is the Eventuri looks nicer. Sleeker. Blends in and compliments the engine bay and car itself better.

I saw that! What a nice torque jump! We have the same bolt on’s so I was happy to see that too. I could securely tell a difference going from his OTS tune and then adding the charge pipes and HVI after. Monday is Kuro day!

Those club racers look SO good!! I’ve been thinking about those or the Work equivalent style maybe some time in the future.
