The Type-S doesn't have reverse tilt, but it can be added using either of these from Mikstore: Honda OEM Side Mirror Turn Signal and Folding Kit Honda Side Mirror Reverse Auto Tilting

Yeah, sounds like it may be best to let the dealership tackle this one. Though, I wonder if you might be able to pop the triangular part off the end of the dash to get to into that area.
