Looking fantastic - one addition/suggestion, if you haven't already, is change out the shift knob. I just changed mine out to a Titanium (spherical but they come in different shapes) with some custom engraving. I bought mine through Billetworkz.com - unbelievable customer service (were even able to change out my original order (was brushed stainless steel) when Titanium came in 2 days after I ordered. Highly recommend, they have numerous models/types of shift knobs.
I was actually planning to get the dealer option titanium shift knob. I'm a sucker for OEM+ stuff lol. also its a nice throwback to the older Integras

OEM Titanium is a great upgrade to - I had the spherical shape on my Honda S2000 and liked the feel and look so decided to stick with it on the Acura.

celebrated hitting 10k miles by hitting the canyons. took some cool photos - wanted to share them.

unfortunately, I went on a time where traffic was at its peak, so I couldn't push it. It worked out, though, since I went to a newer road than the usual Azusa. although I couldn't tell whether the PRL RMM affected the weight transfer/handling of the car so I'll have to test it out another time when I hit my usual canyon road that I'm more familiar with.

though, from the corners that I've "spiritedly" drove on so far, I can definitely tell it's nimbler and more balanced, due to the lack of engine bouncing around the engine bay lol. more testing must be done!

was looking at the titanium OEM knob myself and found this one instead

Similar, but red numbering brought me back to my TSX. Was concerned the skunk2 logo would be too noticeable, but it’s pretty subtle against the machined finish.

Separately- pulled the trigger on the rear engine mount. Seems like a good bang for buck initial upgrade. Likely will save the intake/exhaust for spring.

PRL RMM is in!
heres my impressions thus far:

first thing I noticed, drive train slop is completely eliminated, shifts (especially from 1st -> 2nd, 2nd -> 3rd) are so much more precise. I feel like you can really drive more "spiritedly" now that the throttle is more accurate - gives a lot more confidence and rhythm in shifts.

second thing I noticed, car feels more planted and moves as one. less fighting from the drive train and the chassis. feels like a proper sports compact. inputs are more precise (like steering), and theres less of a delay from your inputs towards the car. feels like whatever you do from shifting, to throttle, to cornering, the car is responding EXACTLY to it, rather than having delays due to the previously mentioned drive train slop.

third thing I noticed, NVH is not as bad as some people make it out to be. at idle, there's BARELY any significant nvh. where you start to feel it is from a stop - where you're slipping the clutch, cold starts, or when the ac is on. as the car warms up, NVH is practically gone during idle. I'll keep an eye on this as the bushings starts breaking in. not bad at all, in fact I like it a lot, and am kinda sad that it'll decrease as it breaks in.

haven't taken it to the canyons yet, but im really looking forward to it.

also, installation was a PIA. AWE Touring front pipe sits a bit lower than the OEM front pipe, making it difficult to pull the front bolt out. had to remove the lower bolt that connects the bracket to the engine, and move the rear motor mount to the side, away from the front pipe so i could get my socket onto the bolt. either way, I managed to get it installed, and it makes the car feel sporty rather than entry-luxury. worth the trouble and price lol
Sounds like the challenge was the AWE pipe sitting lower - if you had (or my case I do) OEM front pipe, is the installation pretty straightforward just having the vehicle up on jack stands? Or is this one of those projects finding a lift will keep your sanity?

so the OEM front pipe will still block the way. what I've seen people on YouTube do is push the front pipe UP, allowing more clearance to get the bolt out.

it's definitely doable on stands, I did it on stands.

I'd recommend getting a ratchet wrench rather than having to put a socket on, and then a regular ratchet/breaker bar. you definitely would need some muscle to break it loose this way, however.

here's how I did it, in case you run into a situation similar to mine:

loosen and remove the lower bolt that connects the motor mount BRACKET to the engine (if you look in my picture, there is a black bracket with a bolt on the bottom of the bracket connecting it to the engine)

loosen and remove the bolt holding the bigger rear motor mount bushing that is facing palm upwards.

move the bracket away from the front pipe. this allows way more clearance from the last bolt and the front pipe. get a socket on, breaker bar or an impact, and get that sucker outta there.

installation of the aftermarket mount should be way easier.

in theory, its a straight forward job. only two bolts holding the mount. its the front pipe that gets in the way.

let me know if you have any questions or more clarification, im happy to help

Thanks, sounds like a job when our temps get a touch cooler (in the 70s for a high, even though we are now down in the mid 80s or so). I have plenty of tools from wrenches, sockets, breaker bar (and impact wrench if needed). I also have knuckles that are used to getting skinned from breaking nuts loose:).

thats what im saying! raw feedback from the engine is always a joy, and the rear motor mount provides exactly that. im really loving it so far. would recommend anyone who's on the edge of getting a stiffer rmm
BTW - I bought Ktuner and sent the ECU data for my 26 Integra Aspec - since currently there is no support for it. We shall see!

I've been rocking this knob for a while and I love it for the weight too. Makes the shifting feel more precise for me. I don't really notice the logo either as it's pretty subtle. Here it is in the daylight.

wow looks great - i live in FL - where the temps would preclude me from rocking this knob.

It does get hot in the sun but I think if you put one of those covers over it I bet it wouldn't be hot enough to burn you. More trouble than some people want to deal with though.

You might be surprised, mine will get warm but not that uncomfortable and cools off quickly - then again I live in northern FL so our temps might be cooler:).
