Is it the same track that you recorded in the type S, or a different one?
Different one. Muuuuch nicer than the one I typically rent for private days:

It's now one of the best tracks in the country. No such thing as a "straight" other than "roller coaster" where you go airborne.

I can see why, the scenery, the flow, the smooth tarmac. Very good location for a track with all the elevation changes, visibility is good, width is good. I would like some high speed corners and a true straight, but the former is dangerous.

Overall that’s a sweet track. I hope to see it get some media hype. It’s definitely one of the best tracks in the country that I’ve seen.

edit: It’s got some high speed stuff. Nice

If you watch my video at minute 16 you can see my counter steer into turn 1. That's at pretty high speed and doesn't look like much, but from the outside you would see the rear pitched and sliding for 50ft or so.

The track is full of blind off camber turns! First time out people almost can't remember the corners, let alone the direction that follows! It's really a blast! I love it!

Fun fact, the guy that built it mostly built it for his son (driver in that imsa team) to have a very challenging track to practice on that has "every corner you'd need to see."

This year NASA nationals will be out here! I'm excited for it! I'm itching for the season to begin, but there's a decent amount of car prep I need to sort through as well.

Hah, I saw the counter steer. It does have blind corners, but it’s not a difficult track to memorize. Maybe because it looks so fun to drive. I can see what you mean by getting a bit lost at first though. You have such a calm cool head that even when you started pushing, everything looked like it was in slow motion. The counter steer looked so minimal and smooth. The track is so wide and the trees are far away, so it’s hard to tell how fast you were going.

It does have a bit of everything. I’m sure his son is pleased to have such an awesome track to hone his craft. The off camber turns didn’t look too off putting from first glance.

Good luck out there. Looking forward to hearing about your season.
