Color-Changing DRL Headlight Modification with App

Hey everyone,

I came across this video showing a headlight modification that allows you to change the color of the DRLs (Daytime Running Lights):

I was wondering if anyone here knows a shop or someone who can perform this type of modification on a 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec.

I'd ideally like to have the same color-changing DRL functionality shown in the video.

If anyone has experience with this, knows someone who does custom headlight work, or can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it!

Interesting, great video. I thought the headlight was largely untouchable, but that makes it look very approachable. I like the idea of changing drl color, but never wanted to commit to a vinyl option.

if you find out that would be great. electrical work isnt my specialty yet so i'd like someone to do this mod for me.

Look up headlight retrofitters on google, might have something local. If not local, you’ll have to ship your headlights out. I’d reach out to Vision Autoworks. I’ve seen plenty of examples on Clubrsx when I was active over there and they do good work. You’d have to submit a quote request through their website. Precisionworkz is another company that comes to mind, but their website seems to be down. Could try reaching out on their Instagram.

Technically, I think so, but a lot of BMW owners have been doing something similar for years replacing the orange reflector in the bumper cover in front of the front wheels with the European color matched insert. I guess it depends on if you are subject to regular state inspections and whether your shop will fail you for it. I don't think cops are looking for missing side reflectors to pull you over, but maybe somewhere they are.

It is not, but many people do it. It's also not legal to be driving with anything other than amber or white lights on the front. Blue, red, or any color changing/flashing will lead to a ticket. No cops are really paying attention to the side reflector, but if someone is looking for someone/something to blame in an accident or create justifications for searching for other things it slightly raises the risk. Imo, tinted windshield and too dark windows are much higher risk.
