I would say that's accurate. my understanding is that dealer allocation was initially based on prior Integra sales, and then based on ITS sales. I was told by an Acura sales manager that color combos were also initially chosen by dealer management
My dealer new car sales manager told me they could “make suggestions” but that orders sent may differ which is why they’re going down the list from 1st to last place when they receive an allocation. I’m second at my dealer and both the first person and I had to pass.
