Who made the jump from A-Spec 6MT to Type-S?

this is where I’m at. DABP is gorgeous, but side by side, I still prefer OG ABP.

I really like both colors, but I still haven’t seen DAB in person yet. I’ve looked at a lot of photos online, and the DAB is really growing on me. It appears that the shade of blue may look different depending on the angle and how the sun hits it (maybe someone can chime in on this). If so, that really intrigues me. Regardless, I like it enough to not be sad when I buy a new ITS in DAB… (gotta wait until March/April though).

I saw DAB in person for the first time on an A-Spec, and I really like it! There was a customer owned ITS AB there too for comparison

I had service done on my MDX and then spoke with the Sales Manager afterwards about when they would get the A-Spec Tech 6MT in, and they won’t have one anytime soon; the one they planned to swap with a CVT to another dealership was sold. Bummer.

There is good news though! After a great conversation with the Sales Manager, he is going to call me when they get a Type-S in mid-January; he offered to let me take it for a test drive. It isn’t the color I want though. Depending on how that test drive goes, I’ll order a DAB ITS…

I’m pretty much convinced this is the car that I want. It will take about 4 months to get which aligns nicely with when I’ll get my bonus at work. The snow should be all done by then too.

Im already planning what else I want to buy to personalize the ITS a little. First purchase will be a set of TuxMats that I’ll have with me when I go pick up the car. I also want to switch out the 19’s with lightweight 18’s and a set of tires that will last longer; I believe this setup will help improve the ride. Any suggestions on wheels/tires with the goal of comfort over sheer performance/grip?

I don't track my car or anything like that and i wanted to preserve the stock suspension geometry as best i can so i ordered a set of 18x9.5 ET 60 from Allibaba (i know i know ). For tires i got a set of pirelli Pzero AS plus 3. For just city driving, they're definitely a lot quieter than the PS4 and have enough grip. Haven't had to deal with heavy rain or light snow. Since these are my winter setup, I can't comment on warm dry weather vs the PS4. I would say it won't be as good since it is a different class of tire.

Bought a CPO ‘25 A Spec Tech in July, downgrading from a ‘24 M2 (federal employee, so iykyk). Anyway, 4 months later, I just couldn’t deal 1. With the relative lack of ‘go juice’ and 2. The petulant child in me that needed to be rewarded for the sacrifice I had made in downgrading. So today I picked my ‘26 ITS.

I’m not proud of myself…but I sure am happy.
