I had just took my car into a shop to have them install protective film on the from of the car and I noticed they had the key sitting pretty close to the car for two days. I suspect that this made it so the lights didn't turn on to save the battery from dieing or something.

After reset, they come back on while approaching the vehicle. I'll post back if the issue returns.

Hey, quick question — how’s your door handle lighting behaving? Mine’s acting weird: interior lights pop on when I get close, but the handle lights take their time and only kick in after I’ve parked and turned off the car. No clue what’s up with that!

Door lights are back to normal and functioning as they should.

Sometimes while approaching my vehicle, the welcome lights do not turn on as if the key is not detected. But when I place my hand on the door handle, it unlocks and the lights come on. Other times they turn on, but the outside door handle lights don't, even if it is dark outside. This issue happens every once in a while. Has anyone experienced this same issue?

I am also having the same issue on my a-spec tech . Both the door handle lights and the interior. also same issue with the doors not unlocking. Been to 2 different dealers and contacted Acura. No help no answers from al 3. very frustrating. The lack of customer service from Acura was surprising especially that I am not the only one with this issue .
