Hello all,

I have a MT Integra that Id like to exchange for a Type S. My lease is up in May and the dealership where I got it reached to me about exchanging it. This is the first lease I’ve had so I have no idea how that would work.
Have any of you done this and can you provide me with insight/advice?

The only changes I’ve made to it is blacking out all the emblems, tinting the windows except for the windshield and replacing the carpet floor mats with rubber mats. And I’m below the max mileage by about $3500 and I’ve cleaned it regularly both inside and out.

Thank you all!

Don't lease a Type S. You will end up paying more over the course of the lease than financing it.
Isn't a car that have lease specials.

Also if a dealer is calling you asking you to upgrade your lease it is to pad their pockets. So your terms will likely not be very good.

If they will term the other lease early and penalty free then you're good to go.

Sometimes they will allow a trade up value with reduced (or removed) lease down payment cost on the new lease. Just depends on their inventory and how they're trying to move cars. It's winter now, so vehicles with summer tires become a bit harder to move overall. The dealer might be looking to get rid of the type s quickly as a result so you've got leverage to negotiate terms.
