I was installing the Scuity drifter this morning and I run into an issue trying to remove one of the shifter cable.
The turning knob was stuck and wasn't allowing me to Twist at ALL. I compared the Spring with the other cable, and it seems like the Spring that provide the knob with the tension was out of position. Does anyone has any pointer on how I can Fix this issue. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Once you lift the white clip, it should release and you should be able to rotate it. You might need to be a little more heavy handed with it but it should eventually "break" loose.

The white clip was up and when I try to twist the knob. The first time I was able to turn the knob counter clockwise but I accident slip and when I try again, the knob was not able to twist either side. I tried for over one hours and the knob was not able to move one bit. I compared the Spring location with the other side which I was able to remove, the Spring seems to be out of position. Thank you.

This happened to me before as well and it locked up pretty tight also. Grab the metal collar (circled in yellow) with one hand (it helps if you have really grippy gloves) to keep the whole thing steady and then twist the black spring collar (circled in blue) with your other hand. Try to rotate it as best as you can without bending the cable. Rotate the metal collar clockwise and the plastic collar counterclockwise. It sucks because you're limited on space and it's an awkward angle but it can be done. You could also try a pair of vise grip pliers to lock onto the plastic collar. Just wrap a cloth or something around it so the pliers don't damage the collar. Rotate the metal collar clockwise and rotate the black plastic collar with the vise grips counter clockwise, it should release. Then take the pliers off and do the rest by hand. It might take some swearing and strong arming but it should come loose. Just be careful not to bend the cable itself.
