Hi,

Right after I got my ITS last December, I put on DW06 All Season tires, and am now hoping that someone else may want my PS4s. These are in perfect, like new shape. I'm up in CT and prefer local pickup/delivery. New is $350 at Tire Rack, I'm looking for $275 obo each. (Prefer to sell as a set).

UPDATE: Willing to split up and to ship. Just let me know!

Fellow nutmegger, and soon to be ITS owner. This will be my daily. I’m interested in how it went through the winter.

While it is my "daily", it doesn't see much use, with remote work and all. I've only got about 1,200 miles on it. The little I did use it, as others have reported, it went great.

Although, just this last sunday I bungled up a wheel from a pothole. :-(

FWIW, I spent about $30 to ship a tire a state away, and about $63 to ship a tire from NC to CA.

Shipping is easy, if those that have tires for sale offer shipping as an option, they may move them a bit quicker.

Thank you! I appreciate the insight. Stupid question on my part: How does one go about shipping tires? I literally have no idea.

I knew that was coming. LOL.

So, go on Amazon and buy this plastic wrap:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1DWLNBP?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

I also set up my own UPS account on UPS.com. They have discounts on shipping most of the time. Super easy and free. Assuming you can weigh things at home somehow, and you can measure them you are good to go. You can enter in the ship to info, the measurements and weight, and get the cost, pay, get the label, etc. For something that's multiple pieces of the same thing, there's a little box you fill in the quantity of same items, so you can get all four (or two, or whatever) shipping labels.

Then drop it off at a UPS store.

Here's what my tires looked like. you don't need a ton of wrap, just cover them good. Then I put a couple strips of packing tape around the circumference of the tire, and a couple across the center part, but all the way across and around, so that if the plastic gets cut or punctured, the shipping label will stay on. I also cover shipping label with packing tape real well, and affix to the tread part of the tire, not just to the floating plastic wrap part.

Hope that makes sense.

Oh, side note, since I made my tires and rims available by the each and with shipping as an option, i was able to sell everything in about 4 or 5 weeks. Rims to four different folks, tires to two different folks.

That's what we're all here for.

Pay it forward. Someone shared all this with me too, so it's my turn to share.

Sell that stuff so you can buy more mods! LOL.

Hi!

Where in Connecticut are you? Thinking of picking up a spare or two. I’m in Dirty Jerz, I could potentially drive up this weekend if you don’t mind doing a discount for local pickup? Let me know what works best
