So like the title says I successfully installed the oem 9in screen in my 2023 integra (non tech of course). I worked with a guy on the 11th gen civic forum who is making a harness and I was able to test it before he starts selling it. As of right now the install only works if you use the radio module from a CRV because it had a built in amp. At some point if someone figures out how to do the install with the oem Acura amp I would probably want to swap it out. I would do it now but I have almost zero electrical knowledge haha. Anyways practically everything works! It also adds some new animations to the gauge cluster when using maps. Zero CEL’s and it even shows my vehicle VIN and all my vehicle info. You can still change vehicle settings and it all works perfect on that end. The only problem I have run into is GPS doesn’t seem to work correctly (jumps around and puts me in Florida for some reason while I’m in Utah). I tried replacing the radio module as well as 3 different antennas (oem) and the problem is the same so I’m not sure what the problem is honestly. The only thing I didn’t install was the Sirius xm because it would need a new antenna on the roof. As of right now I’m bypassing the problem by using a wireless CarPlay adapter to use my phone gps instead which works well enough.
anyways just wanted to let everyone know the swap is possible and gonna be available pretty soon!
If anyone has any ideas on the gps issue let me know! Also if anyone wants to buy a CRV radio module for the swap I have an extra I’ll sell you for not too expensive. Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks!

You shouldn't need the amp for the larger screen. Or is there another reason you need/want that? Did you consider swapping for the 2026 Integra audit unit/screen?

2024 CRV, just because that is what was recommended to me. The harness is not available to purchase yet, it’s from someone who’s making them.

So from my understanding the radio needs an amp or you’ll get no sound from the headunit itself. The only car which has one built in is the CRV which is why I am using the CRV headunit. This is because the CRV is the only model which has the option for the larger screen but not the upgraded audio system like Bose or ELS.
however I have no tried the install with an integra headunit as I was told I would need the amp for it to work. I would be willing to try but only if someone is able to make a harness for the amp or something so that no oem cables need to be cut or spliced.

The 2026 Integra, non-tech, doesn't have the separate amplifier, but it's possible the radio unit itself has it integrated into it.

To install the amp I think you would need a whole host of other parts and harness integrations, but I could be mistaken. There's someone on here who designed a module to allow installing an aftermarket amp w/o needing to cut into the factory harness. Maybe he can give you better insight.

So after looking into it you’re totally right, I think I could integrate the 2026 base/ non tech screen into it. However I can’t seem to find one to purchase that’s not at least 700 dollars. Possibly sometime in the future but most likely I’d have to wait till someone is selling one online from a crashed one to be able to purchase it at a decent price.

Yeah, give it a year and then some should start becoming available.
