Hopkins Acura for dealer service ? Any non-dealer service shop recommendations? (SF Peninsula, Calif.)

Hi, I'm on the SF Peninsula and my nearest Acura Dealer is Hopkins Acura in Redwood City. Has anyone else had their Integra Type S serviced there? If so, what was your experience? Is there a particular service advisor there that you prefer working with?

Are there any non-dealer service shops on the Peninsula that anyone has positive experience with, e.g., for either service or performance mod installations?

So no one here on the SF peninsula (California) has taken their ITS to Hopkins Acura for service ?

I've taken my RDX and RSX to Acura Fremont. I've had pretty good service and experience with them.

If you want a non-dealership shop It's a little far away but I've heard good things and plan to take my car to install a few aftermarket parts. He's on instagram, username used to be acura.mechanic but now changed to bayarea.mechanic. He's a certified Honda/Acura Master technician but now owns his own shop. It's kind of far from you, San Jose. I think his rate is $150/hr. He can book up fast so keep an eye on his calendar.

Thanks for the pointer @humongous_phungus -- yeah, bayarea.mechanic is a ways away for me.
All: I continue to be interested in recommendations for a quality Acura performance-oriented shop on the San Francisco (mid-) peninsula.

And also whether anyone has used Hopkins Acura (Redwood City) service department and what their experience has been.

Best to do the services yourself, unless you personally know good honda/acura techs.
