Hardwire Dash Cam Question

Good afternoon,

I’m getting ready to install the hardwire kit for the VIOFO A119 Mini 2 dash cam and I wanted to ask if there were any specific fuses you recommend using when installing a hardwire kit? I checked a few other threads, but none of them seemed to suggest any particular fuses. Appreciate all of your suggestions and feedback.

For context, I have a 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec with Tech.

I have the A229 Plus with hardwire kit on my Type R, but I'd imagine you'd still use the same fuses

I'm using spots F42 and F32 on the fuse panel, and they're 5 AMP fuses. Hope that helps.

I too have an A-Spec and hardwired a Viofo a few months ago. Fuse 18 (15A) can be tapped for Constant power.

Just make sure you plug it the correct orientation. lt took me an extra couple hours to realize that. If it doesn’t work one way, plug it the other way.
