GPS won't show up on gauge cluster/HUD

Anyone else's navigation only show on the touch screen but not on the gouge cluster/ HUD? It only displays an up arrow on either.
Tried the hard reboot., but no luck.. It worked until last week. Thanks!

Are you using CarPlay or Android Auto? Which app are you using for navigation?

I can report that Waze on CarPlay does not show up in the gauge cluster or HUD. Google Maps does show up in the HUD... honestly I didn't check the gauge cluster, it's possible if you scroll through the right hand side it might be there but I got used to Waze not being there at all so never bothered checking for it.

The HUD is semi-useful though but clearly not enough to get me to routinely move off my default of Waze.

In any case, YMMV based on platform/app.

edit: I see OP is saying it worked until last week. Was the app or phone updated?

Waze doesn't work on carplay because waze itself hasn't been updated to support the carplay APIs that would display it on the HUD/cluster. Google maps and Apple maps (and maybe others, IDK) support those APIs so they show in the HUD/cluster.

I'm using Android Auto, which always displayed on both sides. It just recently stopped in the gouge cluster/HUD.

Neither was updated. Dealer wants me to bring it in since they can't tell me how to fix it over the phone.
