Engine tick and chirp

So I usually drive with my music on and lately I've been driving with out it. I notice the engine tick or valve tick whatever it's called is loud I always have little chirps , reminds me off my frs. Do you guys notice it on your car as well?

I will also mention that it recently started happening when the cold hit. It's like 37f over here and the tick is more noticeable

Normal behavior, just injector sound. The 1.5t has always sounded this way

Ahh okay. I familiar with the sound just thought it sounded very aggressive recently but once I start driving it goes away

Yeah, I assume it’s just because it’s been colder lately. Cold starts have been truly cold lately, haha

I've noticed that until warmed up the engine does not sound happy (3 bars on gauge minimum). The sound reminds me of spark knock at 30+% load until warm. Hoping it's not spark knock myself...I'm sure my road-going neighbors don't appreciate the level I've been taking it easy and being nice due to the sounds.

In response to the video: the sound I heard is relatively normal for a DI engine. The sound I was referencing was while loaded.
