DIY Springs Installation

Hi everyone,

After reading and watching a lot of videos on how to install springs, I need help from the community.

Do we need to remove the wheel center Nut to avoid drive shaft popping out?

I saw a mix answers and would like to get feedback from experienced guys...

I know how to wrench but I'm not a full patched mechanic

It eliminates the risk, but it's just a risk, not a certainty.

I did it without removing the hub nut and did not experience the issue. The key is to minimize the amount that you pull the strut outward when pulling it out of the lower assembly. This makes it a bit trickier so its a matter of where you want to put the effort in - being extra cautious when removing the strut or removing the nut (and replacing with a new one!)
