Autocross Videos with the Type S

I started autocrossing my 2025 Type S last month and kept forgetting my GoPro but I have a video to share. The car is bone stock but I'm running Vitour Tempesta 200TW 275/35 on stock 19" rims. I love how the car looks with that much rubber underneath it and there's no rubbing with the wider tire/taller sidewall.

I used to autocross a 1991 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 and it was a very capable car but just doesn't have any power. I traded my Integra A-Spec in for a Type S and figured I'd just send it. I'm glad I did. I'm putting down much better times now and I'm keeping up with and even beating some of the CTRs.

I figured I'd share this video from yesterday and then come back and share more of my experience after this Sunday's SCCA Solo event.

That's a really long course! I don't think our arena parking lot here is even that big.

Fastest for the class was a 67.3 . Fast for the event was a 64.7 by a very good driver in a Miata. I was "slug like" at a 71.256

The Meadowlands events have been and will be impacted by the FIFA world cup that goes until next year. The Meadowlands are building a lot of structures and other elements (like security, etc. it was evident in TV reports from this past weekend). Various autocross clubs lost access to the lots to 2026.

New video with a two camera setup at STL Solo #5 August 24. I tried to do something fun and split-screen interior and exterior shots synced up at start and finish.

Hopefully Sam k will post videos from the past 2 days at the Solo Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska.

I was in a CSP Miata so not a tremendous value. Just a lot of fun to drive. I may be able to get video at some point.
