Any high milage L15CA engines out there?

Neighbor has a 11 gen si. His is a manual. Iirc he’s sitting at low 30k miles. He’s tuned too and has been since maybe the 5th month he owned it. He hasn’t had any mechanical issues

he does do his maintenance on time for sure tho. That obviously goes a long way. And he does beat the car some but within reason. He’s not trying to hit 150mph and hold it for an hour once a week

I am pretty fond of fast driving but haven't got to 150 yet either! Mine is untuned so far and is mostly used at non highway speeds. My concerns are oil dilution and head gasket issues. Planning to do oil changes every 3000 miles just to be safe.

Non issues bro. Even on the l15b7 if tuned safely + owner does maintenance on time

the fuel dilution is remedied by the shorter oil intervals. Especially for folks who do a lot of short trips and experience real winters. For sure.

as far as tuning. That’s fine too. Just gotta be reasonable with power numbers. TQ be breaking stuff
