Does anyone know why we get such better MPG versus what is advertised? Just drove 270 miles at 70 mph with continuous hills and managed to still get 45 mpg.
My commute is 28 miles one way, mostly 2-lanes with a max speed limit of 50, and I routinely get 40+ out of it. Weekends when I can beat on it a little change that pretty quickly though.
I have 6MT and average around 35 if just in town, pushing into the 37-38 range with some local hwy type roads (not interstate or limited access). Interstate or more steady 70-79 mph I can start pushing 40. Now if I start getting on it and shift more in the power band I can quickly get into the low 30s.
