I often thought of picking up some sound deadening material for the rear cargo area. Recently I came across a drop in sound deadening kit in my local marketplace for the C7 Corvette. So I messaged the seller on the dimensions of the mats and was surprised that it was very close to the Integra cargo area. There is some pretty good weight to these mats which would explain its sound deadening capability.

I'm actually quite happy with the overall fitment and the best part is it took less than 5 minutes to complete.

I haven't decided whether I'll trim the flaps off or not as they do fold up toward the rear wheel wells and should assist in blocking unwanted road noise.

The smaller mats I just placed over the rear floor mats for now. This car is a one passenger vehicle, so they're not in the way and easily removable if needed.

See attached pics and specs on the mats including installed in the ITS. Unfortunately the car is in storage for the winter, so I can't comment on the results. Will report back in the spring!

For those rear mats, another option is to disconnect the tabs on the lower seat cushion and slide them under where each seat is, then snap it back down.

I actually thought of that also. I'll likely do that. Thanks

I'd probably buy some thinner sound deadening and then trace the rear floor mats and cut it out that shape then put them under the mat so that it goes up under the front seats.

Is there a reason why you wouldn't install this mat on top of the trunk floorboard? I would think direct contact w/ the sheetmetal would offer the most sound deadening. That and you could tuck the flaps up under the side wall carpeting.

Yes I actually considered this and will report back in the spring. Thanks
I'll also be relocating the 2 smaller mats under the rear bench
