Imagine being on tilt from said stranger, yikes dude. Get a life.
You just posted an essay to group of random internet strangers too... do you miss the irony of that?
Ford is targeting a different group with the Mustang than a more track-focused ITS/CTR owner.
It's a 'go fast in a straight line with a loud V8 fairly cheaply' car. As noted when you add on the handling goodies it approaches $60K quickly.
I will say the interior looks better (yay screens!)...
Does anyone have any photos of the DE5 next to a DC5? It's 13.6" longer and 7" wider. Would be interesting to see how that looks.
Definitely not as easy to parallel park this big boi.
Huh? All of those have AWD... as does the Golf R. It's just the ITS that does not.
A few of the BMW options like the 230i & M240i have xDrive as an option tough.
The Golf R is a better deal, full stop. The ITS is priced higher due to hype (especially from the CTR) and because it's styled much more aggressively than the Golf R (which has a shape most Americans do not appreciate). Here's my comparison chart that's as apples to apples as I could get...
Always make sure the dealership does not drill in your front. I had to specifically ask as it's required in my state. To be honest I have never put one on my RSX (in Chicago) and cops have never messed with me (as they are busy with people getting shot every 2.5 hrs).
If you need one there's...
This is actually one of the reasons many are upset about the pricing of the ITS. It's based off the R&D of the Civic, one of the highest volume cars in the world. The interior for instance looks almost identical (while my RSX one looked SO much better than the Civic's at that time).
Aside...
Definitely a bold choice, could work for some.
Personally surprised the superman combo (blue exterior with red interior) isn't available. Maybe in a year or so as it's an option on the TLX-S.
Interested in this too out of curiosity. I recall the invoice of the 06 RSX-S being about $21,800 and the MSRP just under $24,000. I paid $22,600 if I recall, as I wanted to be much closer to Invoice than MSRP. That was the lowest they would go as they let me walk out at $22,500 (which my...
That comparison chart is odd and cherry picked as expected...
Top speed is an absolutely pointless measure unless you're racing on the Ring or something
# of speakers is not a useful metric either, it's the quality (or at least watts)... B&O and Burnmester are ELS level
Of course they ignore...
Errr the RSX-S was a great car for me at 18. With coils it does quite well at the track for $23K. My whole point is that was 20 years ago... It's slow af by modern standards. Now for $52K, the M240ix dusts the ITS in ever category except 'driver engagement' with the 6MT (although the ZF8 is...
Civic is getting nicer... maybe.... but so is BMW by much more. The delta is huge now. The ITS doesn't even have rear arm rests much less a sunroof my 20 year old dc5 has. Acura is geting worse imo. The manual is all they are booking on.
Seems like I out aged the ITS crowd. But oddly enough 90%...
Stealership wanting $67K lel, get a damn M2 for that. Should be $47K; however, the desperate on here are paying MSRP already which is way overpriced.
Interior is 90% the same as a $25K Civic. When my RSX was released 20 years ago, it's interior was WAY above the Civic at the time. Acura is...
I think I can take my RSX bumper off in my sleep at this point (have to for CAI filter swaps and such). It's all clips and 4 screws on the bottom. The issue is the crazy angle of the screws in the wheel well, those are tough (but not super important tbh).
Luckily there's lots of aftermarket...
Ugh I wrote in my other post that all situations are unique, but for 98% of people yes they should. I have enough to buy 5+ ITS's in cash too, but still want to make 3x in salary, that's my retirement money... not for a heavily depreciating asset. Please go ahead an buy at 6 year high interest...
You should have a gross salary of 3x your car. Full stop. This is why there's such a high defualt rate and people taking out 5+ year loans.
I would much rather max my 401k first that put money into a heavily depreciating asset. Guess that's why I'm in Finance and many are terrible with money...
