  1. Faster

Clean cars are faster, it's a scientific fact. :D
  2. 2 Years Free Maintenance

Usually I prefer to do the oil change myself but one advantage I can think of is getting the record of the oil change in service like CarFax. It's a good way to demonstrate regular maintenance come resale time to potential buyers. The other advantage is similar but for warranty purpose in case...
  3. TPMS info

I have been wondering the same thing as I contemplate about winter wheel/tire setup. As much as I appreciate knowing the exact psi in my tires, it's a pain and additional cost to put TPMS on the 2nd set of wheel/tire. I believe the Type-R has indirect TPMS system, ie no pressure sensor, just...
  4. MSRP Type S vs Marked up Type R?

For me personally I was ready to pull the trigger on a $5k over Type-R from a local dealer a couple of weeks before I got the ITS. At the time I didn't have a very good lead on the ITS and was willing to do the CTR for under $50k. But of course the dealer pulled a bait and switch on me so I...
  5. First 50 LCM ITS Deliveries?

Jack was my salesman. It would be an interesting look for LCM with copper wheels but the $2k for it doesn't make sense to me since they are the same wheels just different color. I would rather invest in a set of 18" forged wheels with good all-seasons on them.
  6. First 50 LCM ITS Deliveries?

Yea definitely can tell they are top notch. Didn't have a chance to tour the facility but saw what they have in the back of the showroom. An NA1 NSX and NC1 NSX, sitting next to a S600 roadster and a Cub scooter. You can tell they care about the history and the brand. Wouldn't hesitate to do...
  7. First 50 LCM ITS Deliveries?

Just posted my drive impressions here https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/long-er-term-impressions.51231/post-836874.
  8. Long(er) term impressions

Drove my ITS home yesterday on a 12 hr ~850 mile road trip. Here are my impressions from that drive. Love the autonomous driving aids for the long road trip. Didn't use the adaptive cruise control much since I was trying to vary the RPM for the break-in but the lane keep assist is such a...
  9. First 50 LCM ITS Deliveries?

Sorry but not sorry... That was me. :) Picked it up and drove 12 hrs home from St Louis to CO yesterday. I guess I lied, an ITS at MSRP with no accessory add-on was too hard to pass up instead of waiting for the right F36 440i GC. Highly recommend Mungenast St Louis Acura. I did pretty much...
  10. Rear seat swap between A-Spec and Type-S?

I'm actually more curious about the front driver memory seat and if that can be retro fitted from the A-spec HW. Not sure where the control module for it lives.
  11. Value of the Integra Type S

Weird, the opposite for me. Always owned Japanese cars but was never interested in a Honda until CTR and ITS. But I do agree with you at $52k this is not a value for me. Guess I still won't own a Honda. :D
  12. 2024 Acura Integra Type S Pricing & MPG Fuel Economy Released! Pre-Order Begins May 11

Peace out... Yea $52k is crazy, I'm looking for an Audi or BMW for that price. Heck, I might even look at the WRX again and give up the hatchback.
  13. Value of the Integra Type S

Yea, sport line has small low wing and a lot less red.
  14. Value of the Integra Type S

The ITS value for me is in the fun to drive factor. I'm not looking for a track machine so a CTR with some additional creature comfort for daily drive fits the bill for me. In fact I would have been happy with CTR as is if I can buy it at MSRP. Since that's not likely to happen in the near...
  15. Value of the Integra Type S

If we are talking the FK8 Sportline I don't think that one has full leather interior. Just black interior vs the bight red one. https://www.motortrend.com/news/2021-honda-civic-type-r-sport-line-fk8/
  16. List of Honest Acura Dealerships For Type S (MSRP vs Markup List -- Integra Type S)

Couldn't agree more. I would have been perfectly happy with either CTR or GRC but the supply is just not there and I refuse to pay the ADM that the dealers are asking. If ITS market turns out similar I'm looking for a S5 Sporback or M440i Gran Coupe instead. I would rather pay a little more...
  17. $500 deposit to reserve Integra Type S on Acura.com starting May

For the 2023 Integra it looks like the actual MSRP was released at end of April for a very early June on sale date., so basically a month before. The ITS is said to be also on sale in June. Maybe Acura is planning on revealing the MSRP on 5/11 with the opening of reservation system? For what...
  18. List of Honest Acura Dealerships For Type S (MSRP vs Markup List -- Integra Type S)

CarEdge has an episode just yesterday about the worst states to buy a car currently: FL, CA, GA, TX and NJ/NY. I feel like this thread pretty much confirmed everything they are saying.
  19. $500 deposit to reserve Integra Type S on Acura.com starting May

In general I would agree, especially if this is a different/new model, a lot of things in manufacturing have very long lead time as you said. But from everything we have heard your only real option at reservation is exterior color if you think about it. The 3 interiors are the longer lead...
  20. $500 deposit to reserve Integra Type S on Acura.com starting May

Assuming on average each dealer is getting 5 Type-S for rest of 2023, that seem to be around the number people have been hearing from their dealers. Google says there are 274 Acura dealers in the US. So that works out to be 1370 Type-S build after the launch in June. That averages out to...
