as most reviewers have said and as an owner I concur, the only thing stopping the civic from being a perfect car is the cvt
the integra (especially type s) has the potential to do something Acura hasn’t done since the nsx. Make the perfect daily refined car
we go over specs all the time and...
Someone on the Acura Reddit sub posted that a factory worker is claiming the commercials are being shot in March/April. So I guess logically it would make sense to see a “spring” reveal with deliveries starting late summer (September)
so just like the civic in essence
I could be wrong, but Ikeada said “we are excited to share more information and this will go on sale in the spring/release in the spring”
During the post interview of the prototype reveal in November.
There’s a couple ways to look at all the information that’s been trickled out so far.
They...
I had a 2022 A 220. It was fine as a daily driver. 188HP on a DCT. It was peppy in sport mode and I got 450 miles out of the 13 tank.
Definitely peppier than the 22 civic exl
I sold it in preparation for the integra. Glad I did. We know discontinued models don’t hold value.
when I bought it in...
here’s my biggest takeaway if true…
acura isn’t going to let dealers charge over MSRP and will go out of they’re way to ensure anyone who wants an integra gets one…
wishful thinking
By the looks of it it might be usb c ports and the rear seats get them to. The civic doesn’t have that. Again. Minor changes to differentiate.
The top of the line HB is the touring around $31-32k
Acura is going to give us, hopefully the same civic with a DCT and 200+HP for the same amount.
a...
dude. Agreed. I bought a 22 HB EXL
The only reason my kid has it is because of the integra. The interior is comfy and has the same creature comforts as my a220 did.
Like most have pointed out. We’re getting a refined touring civic HB trim. At this point. It’s what’s under the hood that’s going to make or break the success of the integra.
The 22 civic interior is really good as is so any minor upgrades can only benefit it.
and to your point I think Honda understands that 200hp range is a sweet spot for what the car is. A daily that makes driving fun without spending Porsche money. And I say that as a Porsche guy ?
Its a fair comment. I bought the 22 HB EX-L and it’s about the same trim as the touring sans display and Bose plus wireless airplay.
I think for most folks interested they want the integra because its a more suited civic. I gave the civic to my kid and bought an A220 because I wanted something...
Agreed wholeheartedly. Add $1200 for a dct and you’re talking a $36k daily which isn’t bad. I sold my 2022 A 220 in anticipation of this and that was a fwd 188hp dct.
and considering it’s an A spec as the wheel suggests that mid 30k price point makes sense. I can see them topping the A spec out at 37k if they offer AWD which would leave room for a 39-40k S Type later this year.
Based on the interior leak, showing a lighter interior I would suspect they’ll offer the same current Acura colors plus a couple more new/different.
A boost Blue integra would be the sweet spot for sure
further examining you’re 100%. That’s the 9” one which is great. I’ll tell you, I’m 100% getting one but every morsel of info leaking is like a 50/50 at this point.
How hard is it for honda to just give us our Civic Si in HB form with a decent DCT and AWD. Lol
Most of us would drop our deposit...
There’s no way they wouldn’t have the civic touring trim as the base integra trim. My kid has a 22 civic ex-l and the infotainment leaves much to be desired. Here’s hoping this is in fact the prototype/preproduction
Dealerships in phoenix aren’t taking orders but a running list of interested buyers.
The Penske dealers said no markup. Just MSRP. We’ll see…
I expect details to come in the next couple weeks assuming the integra is on schedule for spring deliveries
