You will not target WOT Enrichment values until the ECU goes into enrichment modes. If you analyze the behavior from the factory it will stay leaner much longer than with a tune.
There is no WOT VTEC activation on this application, so yes, it's right. It'll never engage at WOT with those...
Google has been on a tear lately with changes in file saving permissions and all. You may want to reset all permissions and then set them again just in case. I'll pass this on so we can check on that as well.
If you're at a very light load you may be coming in and out of fuel cut deceleration, which also turns off at a certain low RPM. Between throttle, load, and RPM you may be engaging and disengaging fuel cut.
Padding isn't available on this application, as it wasn't necessary, so I'm unsure why you're asking. Many descriptions can be found in our online help section, though.

If you setup on the fly map switching there's not really a reason to flash very often.

We actually ramp torque in and place peak torque later on these applications for longevity, if you take a look at the charts. We have a long track record of success with tuning the 1.5T applications including CVT models.
I'm not seeing what you're seeing there, Sport is indeed being changed with your selection, but I did find an issue on the Tune 1 Sport settings where anything above 19 that's chosen is one off in the list because of a 19.5 option that was added so I am fixing that and will issue an update...
If you're starting with one of our included tunes you have access to all limit tables in the software if you want to see how they're setup in the tune. We don't setup boost by gear by default. You can look at a datalog to see what the target was at any given point.
