  1. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

You may be giving the CMC damper more credit than it deserves. I can't say that I notice any NVH difference before/after. If I really focus on it when stationary, I can maybe feel a little bit of something that wasn't there before. But it's imperceptible when the car is moving. Hydraulic...
  2. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

Can I ask why retain the damper? I honestly believe it induces delay. In my high speed video data, there's a clear difference in the rate of engagement in the before/after of stock vs CDV+damper delete. There's also a clear difference in the delay before getting to full rate of engagement...
  3. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

To be clear, is there any added noise or just vibration?
  4. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

Ah yes, the guy who goes on car forums to tell people to leave their cars stock and not modify anything. Don't worry, all stock here! Don't see any car mods for miles. Better check the forum over, hear that one's full of car mods! .... Okay guys, I think he's gone.
  5. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

BMW seems exclusively focused on nerfing shifters in all of their cars. Porsche shifters are just backwards FWD shifters most of the time. Cables and all. They're very overrated. The Z06 - factory Corvette shifters aren't great, but an MGW cleans them up nicely. It's still a remote shifter...
  6. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

I apologize if this is offensive, but have you never driven a RWD car? The shifter in this car is worse than almost every RWD car I can think of. Like, get in a Miata someday. Or a Dodge Challenger, or a Camaro, or.... I would say on the spectrum of cars I've owned and driven the shifter is...
  7. 25 ITS coming from RS3/RS5 BMW M5/X3MComp. The good bad and ugly about purchasing one.

Homelink can be added! You can buy an Accord frameless mirror, take both of them apart, do a little minor surgery on the Integra's wire harness (just connecting two wires together) and assemble the Accord mirror with the Integra harness and stem. Presto, Homelink!
  8. Very rare look at the Gas Tank for the ITS

Homelink is relatively easy to add. There are some threads on here, and I'm working on a video with instructions as well.
  9. '09 TL Wheels fit! Winter Setup

Trucks on worn-out mud terrains are the most hilarious to watch in the snow around here. Gotta have sipes if you want to have any real grip.
  10. 4-Way Adjustable Performance Shifter for the LHD 11th Gen Civic and 5th Gen Integra

I kind of wonder if positioning it on the furthest forward option and then pitching it back might net you more rearward adjustment. Obviously you have to work within the confines of the shift boot area. I actually have some precision washers from one of my other hobbies that I could use for...
  11. 4-Way Adjustable Performance Shifter for the LHD 11th Gen Civic and 5th Gen Integra

I was kind of hoping for some sort of adjustment to move the whole shift pattern rearward. I'd like to reduce the front/back throw but only very minorly - perhaps a 20% reduction? Is it possible to "pitch" (in the sense of roll, pitch, yaw) the whole shifter assembly back a small amount? Or...
  12. 4-Way Adjustable Performance Shifter for the LHD 11th Gen Civic and 5th Gen Integra

I don't know why the forum is eating YouTube embeds lately, but if it's doing it for anyone else here's another way to get to it: https://www.youtube.com/@JohnNguyenVincent/search?query=exZtKTx9Gp8 I've been thinking pretty hard about this because I find the shift feel of the ITS a bit...
  13. '09 TL Wheels fit! Winter Setup

Just to add to the width and diameter discussion. Porsche is one of the few manufacturers to make specific winter tire recommendations in their owner's manuals. Here's an example: So they recommended going from a 18x8 wrapped in 225/40R18 to a 17x7 wrapped in 205/50R17 in the front, and in...
  14. '09 TL Wheels fit! Winter Setup

I generally agree with this. There's an improvement on snow/ice when going narrower but it is marginal. When driving on slush however, you have to remember how heavy your given vehicle is and how wide the tires are in relation to that, and how that plays into hydroplane resistance. Our cars...

Interesting, the Hakkapeliitta R5's are specifically marketed for sound. Maybe that's why? I think there's even something about it on the tire sticker. My Blizzaks have always been quieter than whatever summer tires I've been running.
  16. '09 TL Wheels fit! Winter Setup

Brother I respect the explanation but you're not going to get anywhere, he just wants to be right, and engaging him will just make this thread harder to read for the next guy trying to figure this stuff out. What tires size do you intend to run? Some guys go for a taller tire to get more...
  17. '09 TL Wheels fit! Winter Setup

That seller has rings in 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm. Link. Go with the least amount you think you can get away with, or go with a much thicker spacer that has it's own hub centric ring machined in. I personally won't use a 5mm-6mm spacer ever again. Caused me vibration issues from not properly...
  18. '09 TL Wheels fit! Winter Setup

I don't yet, I think I have a picture of the wheel itself mocked up but no tire mounted. They look good, but honestly I think those TL wheels look pretty good, too. The whole reason I went with BBS SR is that they are OEM quality. A lot of the cheap aftermarket wheels in the same size range...
  19. '09 TL Wheels fit! Winter Setup

He's gatekeeping his hobby. Useless! It's a car, it gets you and your friends and your stuff from point A to point B. I use my ITS to haul my dog and her cousin (who is a dog :D ) around. When they're in the car, am I driving balls to the wall, accelerating and braking hard, taking corners...
  20. '09 TL Wheels fit! Winter Setup

Summer tires aren't safe to use in winter conditions. Narrow tires aren't necessarily always better in snow, they're better in slush. Our wide tires and light weight increase the probability of hydroplaning on slush. There's such a thing as common sense, just because he has 300hp doesn't mean...
