If .6 lbs is accurate. Thats about 272 grams. Thats way heavier than both the insulated sk that acuity sells. I’m going to have to rethink this. Not sure I want a lighter than stock shift knob.
Thinking about copping an insulated acuity shift knob. I’m currently out of town n don’t have the ITS with me. Does anyone know how much the stock ITS shift knob weights ? Thanks ahead of time for your help.
I'll be the bad guy. I'm not happy with the seats on the ITS. They aren't supportive and they aren't comfortable. Do I still like the car? Of course, nothing is perfect. I'm just disappointed cus Honda makes some of the best seats in the market. Had an FK8 loved the seats. While waiting to do...
I haven’t tested on the ITS but on my other cars that I’ve ran wo TPMS the TPMS light just stays on. I would be willing to be its the same on the ITS. It’s semi annoying but not the end of the world. Some people even put a small piece of painters tape over the TPMS light lol. Don’t think any...
Yeah if its your first time removing the shift knob the collar stay n boot is on there super tight. I used a flat head n wrap it in a towel. Others might have tried other things but a plastic pry tool didn’t really work for me. You will also need a 14 mm open end wrench to help unscrew the shift...
I just installed it just now. Does it work? Yes, but like everyone has stated already it does take about 3-5 secs after start up for car to go from comfort to individual. How’s the install? For anyone that has remove the center console for shifting upgrades like the base bushing it’s basically...
Thanks for sharing I’m about to order this tonight IDS controller tonight. My sister has an older TLX and I’ve always wanted to find a way to permanently disable the auto start stop didn’t know this company existed. They smart.
You should be able to install the FP wo dropping the bumper right? You ll have to remove the splash shield for sure.
yeah a lot of tuner companies likethe peeps that sell jb 4 won’t ship to CA. Need to ship it to a buddy then have them ship or bring to you which is annoying. I can help anyone...
On the focus RS they sold these solenoid plug in after u unplugged it so it didn't throw a CEL. Sounds like they might need to come up with something like that for the ITS...
This was what I was talking about with the two part numbers for tpms sensor. One was when I just looked up integras one was specifically for ITS. First part of the part number is the same before the first dash. Maybe someone knows if the other parts actually mean something.
Let us know how it works for u and what you ended up going with tpms sensor wise. I'm also confused with which TPMS sensors to get as the official part number for the ITS is different from other ones that acura uses. I don't think they need to be programed. When I was reading about others with...
I was personally planning on running fl5 wheels. The valve stem look unique on the Fl5 wheels. Since those don't use TPMS sensor. Anyone think there would be any issues using TPMS sensors on the fl5 wheels?
I have problems in all the new cars with heal toeing, if I'm not braking super hard. I installed the acuity throttle pedal spacer on my ITS. I also had it on my FK8 n really liked it. I personally thing its well worth the money plus they just nice looking products IMO. I had an DP, IC, accuity...
Thanks for confirming. I didn't want to wait for weather tech or husky to come out with the specific one for Type S if it fits already I don't have to wait.
Not for now. I might get the heated steering wheel down the road but I don’t need it for the summer. Tried to negotiate the price of install of the heated steering wheel with the trade in I was doing but they weren’t having it so I said f it. I’ll buy it from someone else.
