I usually just keep an eye out for particular makes/models, and that usually gives me a good idea of what kind of driver I'm dealing with. I'm speaking mostly for the ones north of border, some are probably the same state side...
- Toyota (Corolla, Camry and RAV4): slow, almost always seem lost...
They’ve just gone to the next person in line. I’m probably up at the top at this point. They’ve had to my knowledge 15-16 Type S units come in by my count. This past time, they called and told me the car was going to be a week away so I had some time to decide, but it ended up coming within a...
I don't know what the differences would be market wise in terms of units for Vancouver but, speaking for myself, I put a downpayment back in June 2023 and was 11th at my dealership. I was offered a car three times, September, November and this past May. I've been holding off on the Type S for a...
Nah, though it doesn't affect the Type R production I could see it going three years, same as the Type R, so it would be MY2026 would be the final year. All guesses of course.
Acura has said that they don't plan to go hybrid, so I believe their going to stick with the turbo motors they use now. Once Honda's EV architecture is online, they'll move the lineup slowly over to EV.
It's kinda strange.... it's like with the Type R's there's about 18 up there as well, nationwide, and they all have about 2500-5000 km. A few outliers may have a little less or more but they're most in the range. Same with the Type S. Curious as to why that is...
My dealership received 4 cars this week, all MY24. 1 ABP and 3 PWP. I passed (again) still waiting for the Type R, but in case anyone is interested, it's at Pickering Acura.
Went to check out the ABP, I really like the all Black interior.
I find the behaviour strange.... Honda had quite a few cars that overlapped each other back in the day. Civic and Integra for multiple generations, also the Accord Coupe and Prelude for multiple generations, each with the pros and cons.
I have deposit in for a Type S and a Type R currently. The "aura" for the Type R stems from history of the badge and while I would prefer the Type R, mostly because of always wanted one, it doesn't prevent me from appreciating what the Type S and the fact that it and the Type R share most of the...
PWP and ABP. The two I was offered was MBP and LCM, which are nice colours, just not for me. Choice given, I would take the CTR over the ITS. I've alway wanted a CTR and wasn't interested in the FK8 design. The ITS is a good balance between to two in terms of design in my opinion.
