I haven’t had a back seat passenger in the car yet, but my wife is very sensitive to sound because of her hearing aids (we are officially old) and she said it was great, especially compared to a similar system I had in my old Mazdaspeed 3. They advertise ”no drone” and best as I can tell it is...
When I owned a 2019 RDX A-Spec I found this seat bottom extender on Amazon or EBay….I can’t recall, so I tried it on my A-Spec Integra and am leaving it in. A couple of reasons: Living in the desert, hydration is crucial so I carry a good sized jug (Buzio) and it fits great between my legs...
I live in Arizona, where the state puts gravel at the sides of the freeways for landscaping, so projectiles are quite common. That said, I am on my 3rd windshied already. All of the rocks that hit were small and propelled by the tread of the tires of my fellow drivers. The first two I saw...
I went with the Thermal R&D exhaust and like it a lot. No drove at all, nice lower end sounds at idle and acceleration. Great tips that protrude nicely behind. I did Drag 19 wheels and Michelin PS4AS all around. Very happy with the ride…oh, I went with stock size….MPG still at 35mpg per the...
The mechanic who installed my PRL Throwback strut tower bar was concerned about the short length of the bolts on the strut towers, so adding this would give me fewer threads and I will have to pass on these….I had them installed on my other vehicles and they are great.
That may be your Lane Departure Warning haptic in your steering wheel. I was really surprised by it the first time it did it, and it felt like a wheel or brake rotor out of round. Maybe not, but possible.
I am 6’4, but all of my height in in my torso. You have telescoped it out, I assume, and understand. The wheel is not a tilt wheel, so I would think you might find someone to fabricate something like this. I haven’t replaced a steering wheel since my 1976 Ford Capri IIS., so I don’t know how...
I went in driving my 2019 Acura RDX A-Spec, which I modded to taste, looking at the Type S. I found the A-Spec Integra 6MT and drove home in it. I like it a lot and am modding to taste, as is my habit.
I, too have an A-Spec 6MT. I feel the difference especially between comfort and sport. My wife agrees….she’s not a car-type and as any good husband should do, I have the Wife Setting on my car, but my individual setting is all sport (except I left the idle stop on). I saw on a video that...
FWIW I bought new tires and wheels for my A-Spec and kept one of the tires as a spare. I took out and disposed of the foam thing and the tire fits perfectly. Amazon delivered a scissors jack and a wrench so I am in business. I know the Type S has a different bolt pattern so that will make...
A better shot in daylight. Since it has cooled down in AZ, I was able to cruise to work at 43.2 MPG. When I got off the freeway and drove the city streets it dropped to 39.6 MPG. Nice sound, smooth ride….got it made!
So I got the Michelin PilotSport 4 AS same size as stock anf had them mounted on Drag wheels, again same as stocl size. The Michelins are much stickier in the curves with way less wheel spin than the stock Continentals. I did keep one of the OEM tires and wheels as a spare tire. If I would...
My tech installed mine and actually ran the ground cable over the stop of the bar so that there would be no contact beneath it over miles which could cause problems. He also pointed out that the most medial bolt is shorter and not as many threads to tighten down the bar. I will watch mine for...
If you are using an iPhone for your Apple CarPlay your phone ring volume is mirrored by the sound system. Try turning your iPhone ring volume down as well as checking the phone settings in the sound system of your car.
I’ve owned several Mazdas over the years and I believe the bolt pattern/spacing is common with the A-Spec. The Type S has a different bolt pattern than the Integra base and A-Spec.
On another note, what is an “Elite” trim level. The only one I have seen is the Tech on the ASpec.
