Question for those running Continental DWS 06 on stock rims. Do they kick up as many rocks as the stock summer Michelin tires?
Need to swap to all seasons sooner rather than later.
Thanks!
Definitely not getting water in the trunk - we've had some periods of nasty rain here the last month or so, and not a trace of water in the trunk. So that makes me feel a little better lol.
Took my car in today, said they would have to source it to their body shop. I have a few weeks to decide because they have to replace a window and window channel, but will likely decline the body shop visit - afraid of fixing one thing but adding another issue.
Just took my car in today, here's what they said:
- Seat bolster wrinkle - If they swap out the cover, it will look worse. Said that since it's still cold (I'm in the NE), it should stretch when weather gets better. I'm not overly concerned at this point, will see how that seat molds as the...
Quick question for those running spacers...
Do you need to put an anti seize agent on the spacer/hub so the spacers don't seize?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, trying to learn. Thanks.
Nice install and thanks for all the info. Looking to do only the auto folding feature in the future. I'm a bit confused though. With Kit F, would you still need to remove and swap the mirror bases, or is the wiring and switches all that is needed for the auto folding feature?
In addition to the seat, I've got:
-Infotainment rattle/buzz (should be easy fix).
-small chip on front passenger window at the very top (don't know if this is a safety issue, so going to have them replace it).
-rear defroster doesn't seem to work. I have a separate thread on this.
-hatch is...
Wondering if anyone else has this. The driver side top hatch is misaligned with the roof, sitting a few mm lower.
Going to see if the dealer can do anything about it. Not sure it's worth the trouble if they need to source it to a body shop. Don't want them fixing one thing and messing up...
I've got the same thing...car has 200 miles on it. Passenger side is fine.
I'm taking my car in for a few items, this included, and will see what the dealer can do. I'll update this thread if they decide to replace it.
I have less than 200 miles on my ITS and has happened to me 3 times already. Granted, the roads suck during winter and rocks are all over the place in my neighborhood, but still annoying. Never had this happen with any other Honda/Acura vehicles I've owned.
Thanks to this thread and especially @Frenzal, I took a similar path for the spare. Got an RL rim on ebay for $68 shipped and bought a tire for $115. I bought a Nissan spare tire bracket (part number 74588-ET030) that I used body panel adhesive on to stick to the spare tire pan, as well as a...
Hi All, picked up my ITS just a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it. Today was the first time I've used the rear window defroster, and found that it may not be working right. My side view mirrors cleared within minutes, but my rear window took more than 20 minutes to even start working...
