I never even thought about the "sun shade" (or know what it was called). I have always had mine open since the first day I drove it in 2005. Makes the small cabin feel a bit bigger with the extra light.

I use my RSX's sunroof a LOT, it's super refreshing and brightens / opens up the interior imho. It has never leaked in 18+ years of ownership. Looks like they are playing the 'performance' card though haha. At least the M240i has it for the same price (and 100hp more haha).

Oh they do. I don't think I've ever seen the MSRP of a car get laughed at as hard as this. Normally enthusiasts can guess mid-tier cars within $1-$2K. This was off by $4K from everyone's expectations. Reddit, facebook, youtube, etc. are in lock step.

Agreed. The screen in the ITS is already outdated (see the much better Accord one). My RSX-S is basically fully analog and weighs only 2,800lbs, that's not a thing anymore and much more of a 'classic' than this ITS will ever be.

Love my RSX-S but this MSRP is madness. All the comments on reddit, youtube, facebook, etc seem to be in agreement. It's $100 cheaper than a M240i xDrive. I'll be getting a heavily optioned CPO one in Thundernight in a year or so. Acura is smoking the good stuff and trying to live off the hype...

I am as target as a demographic as possible. I drive a manual RSX-S and make enough to afford a $50K sporty car. My value for my $ is much, much better on a CPO M240i xDrive than a ITS after this insane pricing. Even at $48K my friends thought I was crazy considering a FWD glorified Civic.

I hope Acura marketing does lurk and realizes how insane they are. The company is a joke now.

Guessing they will be under MSRP in 6 months. Not many insane people spending $52K for a fancy FWD Civic. The used market will crash too as people come to their senses and buy CPO M340i's running 12.2's.
