  1. ITS exhaust pops significantly less aggressive after installing PRL HVI

Don’t sweat it, I’ve had this happen to me multiple times. Just clear the codes and make sure the car is fully warmed. They will come back as before.
  2. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

I have yet to hear an aftermarket exhaust in person, but the DP+FP and stock exhaust combo sounds the best on video. It seems some of the valved exhaust options are loud in comfort which completely defeats the purpose to me. Valvetronic makes some incredible exhausts where the sound is night...
  3. Autocross megathread

Ah, so it was Acura’s overpriced Chevy Blazer EV port. I was hoping it was a replacement for the RDX which is arguably Acura’s greatest current model year SUV. I guess I’ll have to keep waiting for a hybrid or EV offering…
  4. Autocross megathread

Assuming you weren’t referring to the ZDX, I’m interested to see and hear about an EV RDX. This would be a great replacement for our A-Spec. Good times for a completely stock ITS. I ran mine in March on DWS 06+, best I could do was 67; one of the instructors ran a 60 in my car. Being my first...
  5. H&R lowering springs and Konig Ampliform 18x9.5 with 35 Offset

They will fit just fine. Here is my setup with -2 degrees all around: Eibach Sportline TE37SL 18x9.5 et38 Falken RT615k+ 265/35/18
  6. Phone Charger always stops working

I second this. I have v1 of this MagSafe adapter and haven't looked back since. It also helps keep your phone in place when driving spiritedly.

What offset are your wheels? It’s a shame the stock wheels are such a high offset considering the majority of aftermarket options place you outside of BS. I’m likely going to run SM/SMF this year due to the fact that my TEs are et38. I should pick up a cheap set of 18s for the 200TWs next season.
  8. Shift knobs anyone?

Made some custom modifications when I couldn’t find a small enough shift knob extension. Added a spacer between the shift boot and knob itself. I think I’m finally satisfied although I might fully polish it at some point…
  9. Am I getting too much air??

Grab a scan tool, read the codes, address the issue. ECUs these days are highly adaptive. An aftermarket intake is not going to produce more air than the parameters can account for. As mentioned above, you probably have a leak somewhere if you only started experiencing this after installing the...
  10. All warning lights on

First and foremost, you do not refill based on what came out. There is a 10mm bolt on the front of the transmission that you remove when filling and continue adding fluid until it starts to flow out of the hole. Once the flow is reduced to a drip you can replace the bolt and button everything...
  11. 6 Speed Manual Transmission fluid service

I also recently switched to Amsoil Synchromesh 5w-30 MTF @ 3,000 miles. Engagement seems smoother all around but that could be attributed to new fluid in the trans or placebo. As stated above, numerous people switch away from the OEM MTF. especially with Type R/Type S. I don't know that there...
  12. Autocross megathread

If you can, I recommend having a set to swap on for events. Tires will last longer and you don’t have to be concerned with driving on worn tires home. I will probably pick up a set of extremely light 18s as dedicated autocross wheels/tires for next season and keep my TEs as a nice summer wheel.
  13. Type S Front Pipe Questions

PRL. I would say the overall tone is slightly deeper.
  14. Autocross megathread

I run Falken 615k+ on street and plan to autocross with at the next event I can attend. The tires are loud compared to my Continental DWS06+ and Michelin PS4S, but that’s to be expected. Any 200TW tire is arguably better than an all season or summer tire, but I’ve heard the 615k+ are not a...
  15. Improve transmission / shifting

I recommend trying the bushings and rear motor mount first. Together, they made a world of difference to me. I recently switched to Amsoil synchromesh mtf. Well worth the change from OEM fluid.
  16. Type S Front Pipe Questions

I recently installed the front pipe on the stock exhaust. The overall tone is slightly louder but the pops on up shifts and downshifts are significantly louder. I wouldn’t expect any measurable performance gains from the front pipe alone.
  17. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Fluid change day at the 3,000 mile mark. Amsoil 0W-20 Synthetic Amsoil Synchromesh MTF Read a lot online about people switching to Amsoil, namely the MTF to remove the 1-2 grind in FK8. I’m still a bit skeptical as it could be related to new fluids, but the transmission feels smoother than...
  18. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

I would take it to the dealer. The FL5 Civic Type R had a recall due to improperly welded seat frames. The identifier was a squeaky seat. Although somewhat of a minor fix, you don't want your seat coming loose at speed.
