Thank you, I should pay more attention.
  2. Your car could be spying on you (Jason Cammisa)

Honda/Acura could be selling your driving information to a company that sends that information to your insurance company. What a time to own a Type S. ?
  3. Spotted Integra Type S Thread!

Saw my first ITS, a white one in NW Houston yesterday. I love how understated it looks on the road. I see many plain integras every where now so I had to squint and ask myself if I was really seeing a type S. I’ve seen Tiger Eye and LCM at my dealership, both good looking colors. Can’t go...
  4. Acura has sold 1,871 Integra Type S units since June 2023

Civic Type R, GR Corolla, Civic Si, Volkswagen Golf R, and GTi sales are listed too. https://www.motor1.com/news/705054/2023-honda-civic-type-r-sales/amp/
  5. 2024 Estimated Production Schedule for each Color Scheme on Integra Type S

You finally got what you wanted. Congrats! Now @Audio79 needs his this year.
  6. Integra Type S Earns 2024 Car and Driver 10Best Cars Award

Well I still turn my head every time I see another integra or Si out in the wild just because we’re all in the enthusiast community, so don’t feel too bad lol. They’re good looking cars that stand out to people with an eye for enthusiastic drivers. The thing with the type S is the bimmer boys...
  7. Integra Type S Earns 2024 Car and Driver 10Best Cars Award

45K is the Civic Type R’s MSRP? The Aspec is plenty for the street, the type S is overkill. Neither are drag racers, so you’re not missing anything. 3rd gear is where the magic happens, and in both cars it’s where you break the speed limit on the highway. Coming from a 22 Si I can tell you...
  8. Apex Blue in TX 🤠

    Also from Houston, congrats man!
  9. ITS Downforce Figures?

Yeah aero is all about smooth body surfacing to feed the rear. I’m telling you man, it’s American skunkworks lol. Americans don’t talk about ground effects. The diffuser on both generations ford GT’s was an after thought the prototypes had no diffuser then the production versions had massive...
  10. ITS Downforce Figures?

According to Acura the car doesn’t need a wing. I think Americans just don’t talk about ground effect, it might be a culture thing. Name one American engineer that has raved about ground effect on their product. I didn’t even know that the new Indy cars were ground effect cars until the 2022...
  11. ITS Downforce Figures?

It also doesn’t have those mini vortex generators at the leading edge of the diffuser. Interesting, I guess we’ll have to wait and see. They probably cost cut at the back since it’s longer, and this has front canards.
  12. ITS Downforce Figures?

I’ll let you decide for yourself. Here’s everything that they’ve done to generate downforce along with a picture in this article. https://www.thedrive.com/news/how-the-2024-acura-integra-type-s-hood-vent-also-improves-downforce Edit: There still might be a lot of turbulent air coming out...
  13. ITS Downforce Figures?

Enough to not need a wing, and that’s all I know. Think I heard it from Everyday Driver, or the Drive article I read last week. The diffuser is functional and generates “negative lift”=downforce Acura says on their website. They haven’t released the official figures and I think if they did...
  14. 2025 Integra Type S?

I put a deposit down, and my sales guy got the color options and gave them to me. I chose silver and black. I checked the production schedule linked by one of the postabove mine, talked to the sales manager who said they will be getting 9 this year, checked the website to see what colors they...
  15. 2024 Estimated Production Schedule for each Color Scheme on Integra Type S

I’d take all the colors they offer as long as the interior is black! (Which is all of them lol). If I had no choice I’d take the first available combination. Every color looks so good, you can’t go wrong. They could’ve added 1K to the Lunar Silver Metallic, and I’d still take it. That was the...
  16. ITS owners -- what is your biggest surprise with the car so far?

Didn’t say the Si handled better, I just said there was more communication coming through the wheel as to what the front tires were doing. The FL5 CTR has also been said to have the same issue, even though its much faster in every way as is the ITS. There was never a need to argue with the...
  17. ITS owners -- what is your biggest surprise with the car so far?

*Sighs* So just because it’s 20k cheaper everything about the Type S should be better since more money went into engineering the car. Sorry bud but everything about the type S isn’t better than the Si. That doesn’t mean overall it’s worse, it just means that there’s room for improvement for...
  18. ITS owners -- what is your biggest surprise with the car so far?

Thomas praises the steering/dynamics from ~8:30-9:09 The first thing I noticed when hopping in the teggy from the Si was the lack of steering feel, and the weight/body roll. If Thomas had any problems with the steering he would’ve said so, like he did when addressing the rev hang.
  19. ITS owners -- what is your biggest surprise with the car so far?

I could feel the car when it wasn’t torque steering, and when it was. Bottom line, the steering feel is there in the Si. You can feel everything just driving around town, taking turns at speed etc. I just don’t feel that precise steering in the Type S when I turn the wheel. I shouldn’t have...
