Iām hoping to find some vinyl that is a close match to the Performance Red Pearl paint on my Type S. I want to use some behind the front A mark so when I replace the chrome with black, itās not a total washed out look. I did a black rear A mark and removed the black vinyl and love the pop that...
I googled the manufacturer and found it. Unfortunately, looks like it only comes in white.

I debadged the trunk and fenders, so these are for sale or trade. I am hoping to find a single gloss black Type-S badge for the grille. Iād trade all three for just the single badge, and also with the promise to send you the front one (for a complete set) if you want it after I replace it.
No...
Debadged the trunk and fenders, and added the gloss black rear A-mark without the black vinyl. I think it looks MUCH cleaner without the badges. I plan to add the illuminated front A-mark at some point. Enjoying 80 degrees in Cincinnati, finally!
I appreciate the ability to get feedback from folks that have actual experience with the mats. Iād never even heard of Tuxmats before I came on the forums. If I hadnāt looked for opinions, I would have wound up with the overpriced OEM mats or the technically great but aesthetically underwhelming...
I got the Type-S trunk liner, and I love it. I came from a truck that had a lot of storage in the back, so I usually carry a decent amount of stuff in the hatch all the time. Nothing sliding around, even without a net (though Iām going to get a net at some point just in case).
Itās particularly funny since I took the interstate with my wife for the first time the other day, and we both commented on how easy and quick it was to be well into prison speeds and not even realize itā¦
Did the red S on the console the other day. New Billetworkz shifter knob was installed today. Shipping was stupid fast for a custom order, got it today after ordering on Wednesday night. The engraving is pretty shallow, but that might be for comfort.
The shift boot gave me some issues...
Iām pretty sure my wifeās Traverse does this. I know Iāll turn it on 3 and Iāll look down and see it on 2 like 10 mins later. Iāve noticed it on the teggy, but luckily weāre coming out of winter so it hasnāt bothered me. Iām sure Iāll be punching the air in Januaryā¦
I agree. Iād rather just do 35% all around if legality were a concern, 20% if it werenāt. Then again, it sounds like the OP will be riding dirty with an illegal windshield tint anyway.
Drove it last night after taking my wife to and from a āgirls night outā, no visibility issues at all. I think time will tell on how well the windshield tint blocks the heat, but Iām happy with the looks.
I accept the idea that my tint may attract law enforcement attention, but Iām lucky enough...
It might just be the angle that the light is hitting it in that picture. You can tell itās slightly tinted when you walk up to it, but itās still definitely very clear looking out. Iāve seen some heavily tinted windshields on other cars and this definitely doesnāt look like that (from the inside...
I just got 20% ceramic all around on mine, 70% windshield. Iāll need to report back on how the nighttime visibility is tonight, I only drove it back from the tint shop during the day yesterday. I had 30% on my previous vehicle and it was perfectly fine, but I wanted a little bit of a darker look...
