I've noticed the delay especially when you skip songs. I don't think it's necessarily Acura's software so much as wireless CarPlay. Same thing happens in my wife's RAV4 when I'm connected wirelessly. With wired CarPlay in the same car, the response is instant.
I've never experienced the...
Yeah I get what you're saying - I had the thought that maybe they implemented something new as well but I haven't been able to find anything. I'll just log it as a bug in their feedback app and hopefully they'll fix it - they're usually good about fixing these before the production release is...
Apple doesn't have a setting for this. I checked to see if they maybe added it in iOS 18 but haven't found anything. If you were previously listening to music with CarPlay as the audio source, it always just resumed playing when you got back into the car. I never noticed this issue until I...
I have the developer preview as well - good stuff. I'm curious if this is just me or it's an actual bug - have you noticed that music in CarPlay no longer automatically plays when you get in the car? I use Apple Music.
Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful color! Especially in the sunlight. However, I'm partial to more of a fire engine red like that Miata parked next to you (my first Integra was that color) and I personally don't like how on cloudy days this one looks darker and more.... metallic
I completely agree with you. As much as I wanted to love the TEP (and I do love how it looks in the right light), the color on a cloudy day was a deal breaker for me. Same deal with the PRP.
For me, people are mostly commenting on the beautiful color (Apex Blue) and don't know much else other than it's an Acura. I've gotten a few "I used to drive a TL/Integra/etc". Occasionally I'll get a thumbs up from random others (a Prelude, an 86, an older 3 series, an 11th gen Civic). Not much...
I had to re-read this because in my head it sounded more ominous than it really is. 87 = fine. 86 or less = bad. Regardless, I'd only use 87 in a pinch, but at least there's some reassurance on the fuel door and owner's manual that it should be fine. And if it isn't, you at least have Acura's...
On the fuel door it says 87 minimum, 93 recommended. From all the previous responses here, I agree you should default to using 93. But it probably won't hurt to use 87 if you're ever in a pinch and that's the only grade available.
Not sure what style of spoiler you're looking for but personally I like that the Integra doesn't have a huge wing like the Type R. That said, I have been looking for something a little more aggressive than the stock lip spoiler. I like the style of Acura's accessory spoiler but I don't care for...
Good on you for doing your due diligence and for walking away from the other dealer. I had the same situation when buying mine - I ended up going with their financing and refinancing 2 days later with my credit union for a lower rate. Yes it was another hoop to jump through, but this was early...
If a dealer tries to sell at a markup, negotiate or run. Sounds like there are dealers that were
charging a $10k markup 6-8 months ago are now selling at MSRP.
As far as issues, I haven't really had any so far. I complain about how frequently I'm filling up but I doubt you'll have that issue...
I was considering the Apex EC-7 or the BBS XR for my snow setup but had the same issue and didn't want to wait.
I ended up getting a set of 18x8.5 Enkei TS-V with +38 offset for winter. Scrub radius difference is significant but I haven't noticed a downgrade in handling, at least in winter...
If you have the time and patience, call around to a few local dealers as well (doesn't have to be Acura) - see if they'll buy your car and can beat the Carvana price (even if you don't buy one of theirs). Worst that can happen is they say no or lowball you, and you walk away.
Yes, just make sure you don't hold the clutch in too long after shifting, otherwise the RPMs will drop back down. I find that the sweet spot is about a second. The car will sense whichever gear you pick and rev to the appropriate RPM and hold it there for a second or two.
I haven't tested this...
