Front windshield is pretty much invisible. Its illegal to tint front winshield in our city.
35 is legal limit for front windows aswell while rears are no limit, so not trying to make transition too excessive. Altho im considering going 30/20 for less contrast.
35 front windows and 20 rears is...
Yup, still.
I was on a waiting list for 8-9 months and gave up. It's 55k CAD MSRP, but all the used CTRs with 300 miles on it are like 70k+
For reference, brand new ITS is like 59k
Definitely not ppf to retain future value, but for my own enjoyment and peace of mind. This is very likely the last manual car ill have ever, so I will do what I can to preserve it and keep it part of the rotation long term.
Full ppf is only 5-7% of the total cost where i am, so not exactly...
Damn thats wild. Must be a massive crackdown.
Cars come with OEM tint thats darker than 35% in the rears. My current car came stock with 35%~ in front and 15-20%~ in the rear. Never had issues.
Jesus, thats insane.
Vast majority of my cars have been tinted, never pulled over. But also never tinted front windshield before so hope it doesnt draw attention.
Im thinking of doing 20% in the back so the contrast makes the front windshield look naked
Okok, im convinced i will love 70%. Installer says its nearly invisible, but has the benefits of uv protection and less heat.
Theres no visibility issues at night? Thanks for your input
Wow thats 70% windshield? Looks so dark! Its illegal for front windshield tint where i live so was hoping it looked almost clear.
Please lmk how nighttime driving compares to the 30%, 20% looks fantastic tho aesthetics wise
Shop only does custom cuts, so was a little surprised they didnt offer to do the diffuser. Just seeing if anyone else has experienced this with ITS, as I am paying for a full ppf but seems theres exclusions
Doing full ppf on ITS.
Installer says that rear diffuser is not included, and the matte black intake vents infront of the intercooler are not included as well.
Is this normal? Thought FULL PPF meant the whole exterior.
I feel like diffuser isnt done cuz its a pain given odd angles and shape.
Damn ur the perfect person to ask!
Thanks i will go with 35 in front, and maybe 25 in the back instead of 20. Looks plenty dark in your pic. Trying to be a little safer these days with the older eyes and response times ?
